omg this show is SO amazing. Watching the episodes makes america's NTM look like a joke. In australia's they pick amazing girls, and there are no stupid Tyra gimmicks. And I noticed in cycle 16 of antm (which aired after this cycle) there were a lot of similarities. Tyra even copied the madmen shoot idea thing!! well at least she's learning something...

the difference between AusNTM & ANTM is that Aust looks for girls who look like REAL models, as for ANTM, they are more into normal looking girls and turn them into models, thats why the aussie contestants far more gorgeous than the americans. but it all depends on what the goal of the show is. apparently AustNTM mission is to find REAL models that are currently hireable in the industry, whereas ANTM's goal is to give to young girls hope that anybody with innate modeling talent.
@munkeehead what about the US version of skins? they didn't even bother to change the plot lines or characters. as well as kath and kim, the office, etc. at least when other countries copy america's reality shows they are allowing their own citizens to have the opportunities the shows open up (whether or not those opportunities are worth while or whatever is a whole different thing)

harpers bazaar said they wanted amanda to win so they left the lines open an extra minute after they said they the lines had closed, 3 more votes come in during that minute for amanda, but even so, kelsey has already got a u by kotex and bonds let alone $25000 and a trip to ny, aust next top model have pretty much given kelsey just as much of an op as amanda...if i were kelsey i wouldnt be complaining, so she missed out on a contract, shes stunning enough to get it on her own

@andrearghh Your post is very inaccurate. Harper's Bazaar wanted Kelsey to be their covergirl, but FOX8 wanted Amanda to win (probably b/c she can be international). Kelsey did win U by Kotex campaign, but Amanda won the Bonds contract. Kelsey gets 25K and a trip to NYC to see Elite along with Amanda.

@TheTheKills She was announced as winner "accidentally" through a miscommunication by Sarah and then the title was taken back off her and given to Amanda but it turns out they're both pretty much getting the same prize now.
