I liked everything else in the cover though. I'll agree you've got your serious moods, and this type of song suits you. Your voice is such that it can do the light and energetic songs and still carry the deep and more sombre ones. I also liked how you built the drums, keeping the rythm simple at the start and adding more elements later. Largely, I really like the cover. Well done, Chris! :o)

I've got to be honest, the base on the keys at 0:50 to 1:08 was not my favorite base line you've done. I feel like bending the notes that much made it feel like the correct pitch was never resolved. And there were a couple times when it felt like it was rushed and landed a hair before the beat. If it was meant to be syncopated, then I'd make it just a bit more obvious that you weren't really aiming to come down on the beat. Where it falls now, I can't tell if it's by mistake or by design.
