The Graphics segment Pissed me off. Do you want to have your heart videotaped and shown? and either way, did you see the pixels? did it look like sir graham to you? this is the most accurate any console outside of DOS or the AMIGA has gotten to organs, close enough to be identifiable, but not realistic enough to disgust people.

I love how not a single review actually compares the cutscenes to what they were before, and that was just one still image and some text mostly non-voice acted.

The new manga-styled versions are a nice breath of fresh air, and turn the old games' way of story-telling to dust. I have no idea why everyone else fails to see that.

I have to admit, using still image cut-scenes is pretty damn lazy.

It's not like they couldn't have proper animation if they wanted.

It doesn't take that long to produce, if you have professionals doing the job, and it gives a much higher impression of quality.

Frankly, this is lazy.

Not to mention that over-stylized anime rarely give games charm, as it is far too generic.

So, these are the things that I've understand from this review:

1. The author don't like wii graphics but not for the good reasons, just because "blahblahblah the graphics sucks blahblahblah".

2. He also don't like japanese styled games.

3. Also he don't like when game don't have "super advanced graphics" even when they're just going to make game worse.

My advice to the reviewer to stop playing Wii games, with his attitude he'll never like any of them despite them being good or bad.

So because it doesn't look 100% realistic, has it's cheezy moments and doesn't use full blown animated cut scenes, you're going to score it lower? Plus you keep blaming the hardware on "limitations" and bringing up the DS. Focus on the game itself and what it offers and leave the personal opinions out of the reviews.

It's meant to be a video game, aka FUN, not an accurate simulation of real life. Clearly you (and everyone who bashes on the Wii for no reason) don't get that.

Just because a game is japanese, doesn't mean it has to look like anime or have typical anime storytelling.

Like Mario and Zelda.

Besides, even within anime there are so many different types of storytelling, that it's almost mind-blowing.

You've probably only seen the mainstream, with stuff like this, Naruto, Bleach, Dragonball etc. but anime can be much more sophisticated and sometimes have really great storytelling

The plot is unrealistic and may not appeal to everybody.

The gameplay is rewarding but hard, which not everybody will like.

Appearance-wise, it isn't that advanced, which some will complain about.

The music is nice but will be overshadowed by the weaknesses in the actual dialogue and noise.

...So basically, it's alright, but the critical will BAAAAAAW about the flaws and overlook the positives. Sounds just like every other new game that comes out these days.
