We honour it by savouring it, knowing that this food has been offered to the Supreme Lord, and such offered food, called prasadam (the mercy of the Lord), not only purifies the body, but purifies the soul, because such food was made with love and devotion to Krishna. We partake of those remnants with bhakti.

Honouring prasadam and eating nothing but food offered to Krishna is the life and soul of the devotee of the Lord! It is technically an austerity! ;)

Yes, the universe moves in cycles and waves. Those who became liberated are free from the cycle and never return. When I say sadhu I mean the real thing, not just yogis who aspire for mystic powers and have dreadlocks. Sadhu means one who has attained the ultimate Sadhya or goal of live which is a personal and loving relationship with God. Jesus came for a certain time and circumstance to help the people of that time. He is a liberated soul.

If you have a candle and you light another candle, the second candle is no less than the first. That is a material example of expansion.First Krishna is there then Balaram, then Mahavishnu comes and creates the material universe. Then the scheduled incarnations come in a pattern similar to evolution, i.e. First fish, then tortoise, then boar etc. It all gets destroyed and created all over again, and again and again.

Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the fountainhead of all avatars. His 1rst expansion is Balaram, and from Balaram comes all the Vishnu's (and incarnations and yes Sesha naag) The entire spiritual and material universes, along with all created things and all avatars, are within the transcendental body of Krishna. (anadir adir govinda sarva karana karanam)

There are ten scheduled avatars or incarnations that come every cycle. Krishna says, "Whenever and wherever there is a decline in religious principals at that time I descend to protect My devotees and to destroy the demonic. He takes a shape according to what is needed at the time and circumstance. But His permanent form is Krishna, the Supreme enjoyer and all attractive one.

He is described as being the color of a dark blue raincloud when lightning flashes. His body is made of eternity , knowledge and pure bliss. :-)

We respect Buddha and sing His glories in our scriptures and spiritual songs. We worship Him in the sense that we worship Krishna, who contains ALL incarnations in Him. However, the Buddha's philosophy and practices, will take you to a different destination than Vaishnava practices of our Gaudiya disciplic succession.

Lord Brahma, the creator of the material universe, and first created being, composed a prayer consisting of 62 slokas. From sloka 1 to 55 the ending is Govindam adi purusham tam aham bhajami. Which means I worship Govinda, the original lord.....different verses describe this Govinda, who is tending the cows. There are many slokas which give reference to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, namely Sri Krishna.

In some Puranas Shiva, Durga, Ganesha, etc. are described as supreme. These Puranas are classified in Padma and Garuda Purana as rajasic and tamasic (for people under the influence of rajas and tamas). Vaishnavas give priority to sattvic Puranas as per Tattva Sandarbha, (in which) There are so many descriptions which Jiva Goswami has pointed out about Krishna being the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Cook the food with a mood of love and devotion to God. Then bring some of it on a special plate meant only for God 'n place before picture of God. Say: "Jaya Shree Krishna Chaitanya, Prabhu Nityananda, Sri Adwaita, Gadadhar, Srivaas aadi, Gaura, Bhakta vrinda, Then hare krishna mahamantra and ask God while bowing down, to please accept this humble offering, then ask all of God's devotees to accept it. I will write some more in vid description.
