Nope, the start was almost perfect. You need to kill the 7 first zombies (number 8 doesn't matter) and then wait for the door to opens. The faster you kill them the faster the door opens. Also, if you stay too close to the door it'll open later; that's why I don't stand right in front of it.

No worries :P you should definitely play it again. It's satisfying to complete it on hard and all challenges if you haven't already, and then you could perhaps try some speedrunning :P

I'm not the best and i barely finished mansion on hard normally...

I am yet to finish Hard mode on TS2 as well...but i'm almost there XD

I've been there too. ^^ Try to beat them the normal way first and then set up reasonable goals if you want to start speedrunning. Like under 10 minutes on Mansion Hard, etc. Practice makes perfect!
