  • che was a hero a real one ,, flesh, bones and courage,, with one engine, dream, the truth and the equality for all, and that,, is a hero.

  • Viva CUBA! HASTA LA SIEMPRE COMMANDANTE!

  • Every body in Cuba can study, can go to a hospital, and there no childs who dies of hunger. Is the only couty of latin america where that is posible. I think that the mistake of Castro was continue in the power till now, i don´t agree with that but CHE and Castro are realy diferent, CHE don´t care about power

  • Tell that to my family. Family members who weren't in the "upper class" and were assassinated by the likes of the Castros.

I won't even begin to insult you or dignify your post with an angry response. Comments like this boil my blood, how dare you say things like that without saying the whole truth about Cuba.

  • Working Class Hero

  • Fuckyou greengos¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • Che = Hero

  • Comment removed

  • Che and Fidel were the Liberators, Bush and Obama and the U.S army were terrorists.

  • I´m from Rosario, Argentina, the city where the CHE was born. Batista was a dictator suported by EEUU, like all the dictatorships of latin america of those years. This was a revolution of the people. And CHE continue fighting in other places till his dead.

  • executions without trials? oppression of certain groups of people? tell me how that isn't a ruthless dictatorship

  • ok its called war

  • it happened after the revolution noob. obviously you don't know what happened. they have trials even in war. there's a huge outcry for just detaining people without trials at gitmo.

  • When you tell me how the indigenous peoples of Latin America have not been exploited and raped, first by the Spanish conquistadors in their lust for gold and silver, and now by the big businesses and monopolies that basically own them. Open Veins of Latin America by Eduardo Galeano is a good place to start.

  • @borntobelegend you are right i wish there will be a group in the us that will end the ghetto drama and all

  • @borntobelegend

Tell me. How many people have castro and che killed and how many Bush and Obama?

  • @qooe1 a shitload

  • @merctp45 The little difference between Bush, Obama and Che, Castro is that today people have much more live support in the USA and are treated more fair-minded than in Cuba!!!!! If you make any thought provoking actions in Cuba you will be arrested or even worse killed!!!! I don't know was PINK arrested or killed by the USA when she sang "Dear Mr. President"??????

  • @qooe1 what you dont know is before castro and che cuba had a DICTATOR named bautista and cuba was only liveable for rich white americans to fuck prostitutes and gamble.. che fought for the Real cuba!! the poor !! and that is why he is celebrated in cuba to this day there is a huge portrait and statue of him in la havana.... che killed rapist, prison tortures, and bautistas men who would kill the poor and burn there houses down!! and is a hero throughout latin america.

  • @pacora24 You're right saying Che is a freedom fighter he was there I agree!!!

But tell how have his aims turned out now!!!! Freedom? Justice? Thought-provoking? Liberty of speech? Is it really better than before in Cuba??

  • @qooe1 Castro was a lawyer so already he was a corrupt fuck

  • @merctp45 And????? Che helped him!!! The situation of Cuba nowdays is somehow Che's legacy too!!!! Look, Che was a honorable man who fought against injustice and for the right reason, but he helped building up another dictatorship which is even worse than its forerunner!!!!

  • @qooe1 fuck

  • @qooe1 i dont know ask the goons aka the us army ! ask children to this day in vietnam being born deformed because of agent orange!! ask the little kids in iraq throwing stones at tanks!! ask the thousands being killed in a city becuase you bombed the fuck out of it looking for a group of 3 men !!

  • @pacora24 Know what either you keep complaining about how cruel these two presidents were or you finally understand why they did it!!!!!!!!

  • @qooe1 were ?? thats in the past tense my friend..... this shit is happening now!!!

  • @pacora24 First of all do you know why the USA attacked Vietnam?????

Because they were afraid of that the UdSSR would conquer the whole Vietnam and with that begin to conquer the whole world!!!!!!!

And believe me they were damm right to be afraid of!!!!!!!!

This socialist scum were bastards and murders and they supressed freedom and justice in their occupied countries and they were cruel!! If you don't believe ask the hundred thousand of people who died having disappeared under the Sowjets!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @pacora24 Second Irak was under the rule of Saddam Hussein a dictator who impisoned inocent people and killed thought provoking people without any doubt!!!

By the attack of the USA they liberated Irak and fought for a democracy there!!

Of course there were faults by America such as Guantanamo by Bush!!! that was a completely wrong way of pursueing terrorists!! But neither Bush nor Obama ARE terrorists!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @qooe1 you really think that? america is in irak onlyyyyy for the oil. America dont fight against terrorism they want more oil, open your eyes, bush made the 9/11, it was an excuse to invade irak, peace

    PD: my english sucks :)

  • @borntobelegend What have Bush and Obama got to do with Che and Fidel? They liberated Cuba in 59...Obama wasn't born until 62. I don't understand how you have made a connection. Please explain...I'm intrigued

  • @justinwiggy

I'm sure he's talking about world leaders in general, I don't think his comment is limited to a certain era.

Great movies by the way. Watched them both a couple of times, Argentine should've been nominated by the Academy... They're still afraid so it seems.

  • @ScarletSnake He wasn't... It was an uneducated comment (The 18 low IQ'd Youtubers who agree skipped school with him). You are correct about the films though, they are very good. Del Toro is excellent.

  • @borntobelegend

i love america, wer else could you get 22 thumbs up for shitting on your government :-)

  • ARE WE Talking about a movie or british and Usa

  • any one know how this movie is like i was watchin one i thought it was this one buh not sure it was cuz in the movie i saw they talked bout che like a documentry

  • Join ActivistHQ(dot)com and say your say!

  • Che Guevara is great

  • Is this Movie in German available

  • Che was a hero. He sought to use his education to benefit ordinary people not to enrich himself like all those gangster capitalists who this very day are still getting huge bonuses whilst ordinary people go to the wall. He believed in a better world for his people. And he was murdered for the privilege.

Viva Che! Viva Cuba! Viva Argentina! Viva Escocia libre!

    From Scotland.

  • It's cool how Che hangs out with the Soviet Union and gets paid while he runs around South America trying to strip dimwitted latinos of their freedom. What a rebel!

  • clueless buffoon, look up US involvement in S.America before posting your partisan nonsense

  • US involvement down there is badass. One of the few respectable things my government has committed to. Killing commies is radical. It didn't take much to smoke Che's bitch-ass. He was a coward! He surrendered.

  • yeah, badass untill the US isn't a superpower anymore then you're fucked. The US are the cowards, they just prop up dictatorships from afar and watch the killing.. Really badass.

  • If we can encourage natives to kill for us, than that is fair. How is it not? When push comes to shove, we send our own troops, who are unstoppable. Ask the city of Fallujah!

  • Iran's got more influence in Iraq than the US because of the war you idiot, US military action time again results in embarressment. It isn't 'fair' to arm a minority group and incentivise them to commit murder against popular socialist movements for your own interests because of a thing called morality. As I say, the US is in relative decline, your only hope is to make amends because you transgressions will not be quickly forgotten.

  • Haha! You're from Britain, you moron! You are America's sidekick. Airstrip One! If we go down, you do too. Europeans don't like you. Nor does anyone else. It's pretty funny how you are from the most ruthless colonial empire the world has ever know, and then you talk about US involvement in the Americas! Get real. You're not over here because we kicked your asses out.

Also, NEWS FLASH. Iraq is now under control, Shiite militias are all wiped out. US military wins again.

  • That's exactly what I'm saying, the decline of the british empire created most of the worlds problems & forced us to ally with US to retain any world influence, obviously no ex colony wanted anything to do with us - this is what will happen to the US. your 'alligances' r based entirely on propping up regimes militarily and economically, we'll see how long the Iraqi goverment lasts when the troops pull out, not long would be my guess,

By the way, you have the French to thank for kicking us out

  • I know that you communists hope to god that Iraq falls apart again, but the ordinary people of Iraq would rather just raise their families and get on with their lives now rather than go back to killing eachother. So sorry, buddy!

What you fail to grasp is that we work smarter than you Brits, we don't colonise. We bomb and befriend. It works nicely!

Why would I thank the French? We rose up, and they helped. Also, that French regime was overthrown not long after, so we owe nothing.

  • I think the fact the American revolution wouldn't have succeeded without the french would mean you owe them for your nations inception? but perhaps i'm wrong.

US foreign policy has polarised the world, facilitated the rise of extremism, made the US the most hated nation on earth & contributed to its declining influence.. 'smart' foreign policy?

Truely now, describing a nation where 50%+ of the population doesn't accept evolution in any sense as smart is pretty deluded!

    I'm no communist!

  • Ugh, do I have to explain everything twice? THE FRENCH WHO HELPED US OUT WERE BEHEADED SHORTLY AFTER. Obviously, we don't owe anything to the people who overthrew a government that was friendly! No kidding, you moron. Not to mention the US liberated France.

Haha. What you fail to realise is that the rest of the globe is also retarded! You don't even realise the 'divide and conquer' strategy! It's all on purpose. Now that we've voted for a negro, everyone likes us again anyways! Haha!

  • doesn't change the fact that your revolution was entirely dependant on a foriegn power, any intelligent person can understand what I meant. By that logic everything thats ever happend bears no relation to current events since people generally die and governments are elected.

WW2's got nothing to do with it, we also saved you from facism, it was a joint effort

You're right though Obama is more popular, because he's the complete opposite of brain dead inbred hicks like yourself g'huck!

  • ok this pisses me off ok if u dont like the english dont fuckin talk it remember the if it weren't for britain u wont be sitting on ur computer chattin shit as good as u yanks do . and yes you should thank the french u yanks didn't kill the french that helped ya they live in canada ur army is trained by the british ur life would be nothing plus i think u voted clinton ur just full off bullshit

  • Really? What does America owe Britain, dumbass? Nothing! We slaughter you. Our army was never trained by the British. Even the original continental army was trained by Von Steuben in the Prussian tradition. Once again: US doesn't owe the current French regime, because the French regime that helped us was the now overthrown monarchy. I don't think shit of Clinton, either by the way. Fuck the English. Worthless island.

  • A large portion of your geneology, your culture, language, many of the inventions you use daily, scientific method, the industrial revolution, the concept of modern republicanism & democracy, actually you still haven't managed to achieve democracy yet. No, you don't owe Britain much do you. And you couldn't have won the revolution without the French, it makes no differance what occured during their revolution - You did not achieve independance alone, in fact they did most of the fighting,

  • Ha! It's clear that you make these statements trying to take as much as possible away from America, but the thing is, it doesn't matter nor do I care. You're right that France was a valuable ally, but to say that we owe the modern French republic is not true, nor did they do most of the fighting. Most of their help was with their navy. It's clear that you would like to make up history.

We haven't achieved democracy? Guess what? NO ONE HAS! We practice democracy as a concept in our republic.

  • well of course I do! To quote someone here "What does America owe Britain dumbass? Nothing!" The fact is all americans are culturally desended from europe. If it doesn't matter to you why spend time insulting the British - why do you so strenuously deny your links with europe? Why do you hold these views? Obviously something does matter and is very deeply ingrained within you to be espoused so hatefully, I just find provoking you amusing because you're so obvious.

  • Ugh, what is this blather? Provoking me? Simply boring me. It's clear that you're re-hashing arguments that you'd use on an American nationalist. What you don't seem to realize is that I fully embrace European culture and would rather strengthen my links with Europe than deny them. While I think shit of the British empire, it doesn't mean I don't share an interest. While I've no gratitude for France, I am fond of French people and culture. How could I deny my own ancestral land? I wouldn't.

  • No insults? Changed your tune somewhat haven't we? It wouldn't have hurt just to admit that in the first place rather than banging on about fantastic the dictatorships the US set up in S.America & the war in iraq are. Saying things like "we slaughter you" is not constructive to "strengthening links with Europe". No wonder I got the wrong idea - although I'm not convinced I actually did.

  • Haven't changed my tune at all, you've simply been operating on pre-conceived notions.Your entire argument is pre-conceived.Basically, you're just trying to insult the US, hoping that I will be insulted. Probably you use these tactics quite a bit against Americans and are usually moderately successful.

I still have no idea of your actual platform. It seems most communist-types I run into are elitists. Including you, who champions 'Che' and calls his detractors 'hicks,' a working-class insult.

  • Nothing i've said has been pre-conceived, i've reacted to you saying how wonderful the murderous foreign policy of the US has been, that training rightwing military dictatorships is fair, and randomly came back to this vid to a post of you saying Britain is a worthless island and you slaughter us, The reason my views are not obivous is that I have no specific platform, you come across as a nationalist fanatic, partisan supporter of US interests, The US right always evokes the 'liberals

  • elitist' like a rally call - from an objective foriegn point of view there is NO evidence of a liberal elite in America Bush was from an oil funded texan dynasty for crying out loud! time and again blood is spilt for economic interests and what angers me more is that the UK and others are drawn into such conflicts by a combination of sycophantic politicans and necessity. Che fought murderous US backed dictatorships with popular support and I respect him as such, he was a great leader.

  • The US had no business in south and central America regardless of politics.

  • So every country should be isolationist? Funny hearing this from somebody who probably spends his time in a pub shouting 'Rule Britannia!' How do you figure that the US draws you into conflicts? How about you drawing us into WWII? How about the fact that most of the intelligence that formed the basis of invading Iraq was provided by the UK! In fact, it was the British who convinced Bush Sr. to intervene in the Persian Gulf initially when Saddam invaded Kuwait. I'm sick of UK war-mongering!

  • I'm a nationalist to the degree that I believe in the UK as a political entity, whereas you come across as patriotic, evoking the glory of your nations interventionary wars against the percieved communist enemy. Regarding Bush - anyone who's father was president who later becomes president himself and who's wealth comes from oil I consider a dynasty. I've already mentioned the sycophantic UK govt but to say afghanistan & iraq are anything other than US led invasions is ridiculous

  • As for supporting right wing nationalist governments, this is what leds me to call you a partisan - if communism is installed in a nation you have no right to invade to overthrow a legitimate government any more than the British have the right to overthrow the US - Military power does not mean there is a moral equivilance, both sides escalated the cold war not just the USSR, talking of cuba, it was the US's enforced isolation of the nation that pushed it into the hands of the USSR.

  • I really don't care for so-called 'morality.' Nor do I care who escalated the cold war. In fact, I would be proud if it was my country who initially started it, though it can't be proven.

Your historical revisionism is disgusting. Once more, you reveal your communist perspective. We didn't isolate Castro. he came to meet President Eisenhower, was refused, and promptly asked Moscow for an audience. Pure opportunism! I don't see how I'm any more partisan than you, with your rhetoric.

  • I've already criticized the UK govt and you accuse me of double standards! Hilarious!! Calling me partisan when you still have no idea of my actual position, fruitlessly trying to put me into a narrowly defined political ideology. I doubt you could even understand my position, as it is in no way defined by limited and narrow concept to which you adhere. Finally 'both nations are responsible' is obviously post-revisionist, get it right will you.

  • Haha! So to you nationalism simply means acknowledging that a nation exists? That could only make sense from an internationalist Trotskyite perspective, so I believe you've revealed your true colors. Either that, or you're just some idiot who'd ought to be a dictionary. Funny how you criticize a dynasty yet you're from a monarchy. Ah, sweet irony. Also, I didn't realize that oil wealth makes you a dynasty. Oh, we led the invasions, but to deny your country's hand is profound ignorance.

  • No liberal elitists in America? Have you ever visited 'New England'? Also, Bush was born in Connecticut, and there was never a 'Texan Dynasty.' Simply lies. Not that I have anything against liberals or elitists! I was simply pointing out the fact that so many self-styled communists criticize 'redneck' working class.

It's silly to decry "dictatorships" if you're a Marxist advocating the 'dictatorship of the proletariat.'

If Che was a 'great leader,' he wouldn't have surrendered as he did!

  • It is doubtful you understand 'nationalism' in anything more than 'patriotism.' Once again, you show your pre-conceived notions. In fact, I despise the US government. Though how can I refute ridiculous blanket statements that I am a 'partisan supporter of US interests.' Your unlettered rhetoric is ridiculous. Who doesn't support their country's interests? Of course, I absolutely support funding Juntas and such to fight communists. Why wouldn't I? Should I want commies in my back yard?

  • when does this come out!?!? different sites say different dates and is it only going to be aired in bigger cities..?

  • so this is 2 movies

  • Free Biscet !!!

    Sino... NO CRITIQUES

    HASTA LA VICTORIA SIEMPRE!!!!

  • @LARIOJA07 muy bien puesto

  • I wish it would be released in Oklahoma! Benicio is the best.

  • 5 Stars, I went to the premier last night here in NYC and I'm glad I made it, because Mr. Soderbergh was present to take questions and sign autographs.

The Directing, acting, and cinematography are amazing.

Highly recommended, this one is a must see.

Althoug I must tell you the movie is long - and there is a 15 to 20 minutes intermission.

    Enjoy.

  • I saw it in NYC as well. The second film was nowhere near as good as the first, which I really loved

  • Tell me about it. I fortunately managed to watch it at the London film film festival about 2 months ago. It's one of those films that I will not forget for the rest of my life. Excellent film in every aspect. Absolutely deserves all the awards available in the film industry. Not only is it entertaining but it is an superbly planned film, that shows all the emotion and passion Che had in his fight against the corrupt capitalist world.

  • they keep changing the release date in canada!!! its killing meee

  • Try an lemme know when it's for sure :(

  • well at first it was december 12 for the argentine and january 24 for guerilla but now theyre realeasing them both o n the 24 like they did at cannes. so hopefully they dont change it again

  • would that be for the released of the dvd

  • nope, theatrical. it's really annoying cause i'm dying to see this and i hate downloading movies off the internet

  • Politics aside, it's a movie. Regardless of everyones different opinions it will be a great film. As was Schindlers list, The passion of the Christ and Gladiator. You don't have to agree with the premise at hand, just enjoy FILMMAKING!!!!!

  • HELL YEAH!!

  • You people are getting pocket raped by the government. but ofcourse they won't because they are just a product of society.

  • I know the cuban community has viseral hate for CHE and socialism and communism. And I know they think that by protesting when it comes out that they are doing some good. News flash, you are dellusional and no one cares about your opinion's. Why don't you riot about that 700billion dollar bail out, it is raping your poor pockets you know. IN fact, 2 billion would be enough to make every tax paying american wealthy enough to pay their fucking house off. Start a fucking revolution

  • Its funny. I've read many horrible and hateful comments about Che. Many cubans in their own right actually, clueless fucks, little known fact, the cubans exiled where batista simpathizers, the united states offered them some money and security and they came. The irony is that they live in DADE county where people get shot in the head every day, your next door neighbor is more likely a cocanie dealer than anything else. Its a fucking hell hole it stinks that whole place stinks.

  • w guevara

  • Clueless, all of you.

  • i think gael garcia bernal did a great job as the young che i hope benivio del toro does great to i wana see this film

  • long live EL CHE!!! lets see what those stupid cubans in miami are going to do!! protest just like they did when oliver stone did that video with FIDEL CASTRO COMMANDANTE!! cant wait to see this movie and im going to miami wearin a CHE SHIRT to watch it!!!

  • Hoooooly Shiiit!! Ive been waiting for this film for over seven years.

  • I CAN'T WAIT!!!

  • HASTA LA VICTORIA SIEMPRE !

    VIVA CHE <3

  • I think Jsu Garcia could have played a better CHE, he actually played CHE in "The Lost City" and was amazing though it was a small part. Jsu is a Cuban decent...but he could have pulled off the Argentine accent. Watch Motorcycle Diaries before this! Read the book as well.

  • Oh Oh Oh when is this gonna hit theaters! I live in Nice and I haven't even seen this!

  • ugh i cant wait to seeeeee this

  • i shit you not.this movie already came out in spain and is already online.

  • Is there an english (subtitled) version of this film? Anyone know the Australian release date?

  • Benicio's Argentine accent is close to perfection, but Gael Garcia Bernal's (who's Mexican) effort was better, he absolutely mastered it in Motorcycle Diaries. Credit to Benicio though because although he's Puerto Rican he still had to touch up on his spanish before this film, so its double the hard work. Besides at this stage in Che's life his Argentine accent wasn't as predominant, he had a mixture of accents having spent so much time in so many countries Venezuela, Mexico, Cuba etc...

  • As an Argentine, his Argentine accent was about 3% authentic. he lived most of his life here, in Rosario, Alta Gracia and Buenos Aires. Benicio couldve done 100 times better. Though his performance as the Che was uncanny, too bad the voice didnt go hand in hand.

  • the movie is out already

  • Figo! Ma quando esce?

  • does anyone know where you can view this movie online?

  • Looks better than Medellin

  • I have to say Benicio is absolutely brilliant in this! Completely blowed me away

  • this looks heaps good but i wish it had english subs!

  • i downloaded it from a torrent site.

  • wich one? and do you know when it comes out?

  • BULL SHIT ITS NOT EVEN OUT YET

  • i just finished watching it.this movie is greattttt.

  • where did u see it?

  • when is it coming out

    viva serok apo

  • I think this was shot with the Red camera.

  • ha I saw images from Puerto Rico, like the water fall, that is the Yunque Rain Forest.

  • what's the name of the music? is it the soundtrack of the movie or a previously created song?

  • Steve Jablonsky - Goliath

its only on trailer music it was never released on mp3

  • it's really beautiful and perfect for the trailer movie

  • yea, it was used in the pearl harbor movie too, tends to work perfectly with epic movies
