hahaha that official who asked if you got permission LOL I guess he was showing a bit off xD there's no such hard n fast rules in the campus areas. Everything is chilled out!! Nice video mate cheers :)
@johnnyjohnson actually Im from delhi, but recently got placement in an IT company, wipro technology. My joining is in bangalore on 18th october :) So I was just roaming around on youtube watching stuff about bangalore :) guess your video helped me a lot buddy :)
ha ha u think u get sick cz u eat in bangalore not true....just that uor food is spicy...so go for some good hotel which gives you other food like what ever u like...this is bangalor...you get a lot of international food from nations like mexico italy england..hmmmm u get a lot if food blore has more food than u can think of...go to a good place...like in mg road or koramangala good places...lodz of restaurents
Actually, it's not that the food was spicy, it was that my stomach wasn't use to the bacteria over there. I grew up with spicy Indian food without an issue over here in the US. In any case, I am looking forward to going back in a few years.
What did you have ? i hope not something serious. i will be traveling to Bangalore(for work - IT PARK ) in may and i am concerned about my health too and now i am doing some research about conditions in India and especially in Bangalore.
What I had was nothing serious. Just a case of stomach flu I think. I think it was probably because my body wasn't used to the food over there, as well as some of the bacteria in it. Shortly after I returned home, it went away, but it did take a week or so for my body to readjust. One thing I do recommend is getting a prescription for anti-malaria tablets. Do a google on Malarone. It seems to work well and I didn't have any side effects from it.
Thanks for the info.I'm glad it was just something with your stomach. With the risk off me sounding stupid:D : but did you get bitten by mosquitos anyway while you were there ? Since Bangalore is a big city i expect it to be sprayed with pesticides thus decreasing the number of mosquitos in the city... i don't know what to expect.
First of all, that's a good question. :) My aunt and uncle live not too far from the IT Park and I stayed with them while I was there. I did get mosquito bites while I was in Bangalore; however, it was a lot less there than in Mumbai and Jaipur.

maybe there were fewer mosquitos because of the higher altitude it is situated at.
vantezia 3 years ago
That's entirely possible.
johnnyjohnson 3 years ago
No Cause of the dry nature of the climate.
justawordaway 3 years ago
@vantezia actually...there r fewer mosquitos because there r no places in bangalore where mosquitos breed(they breed in dirty water)
