bekandan they are injecting them with supposed cures to the Chimeran virus and as you saw it didn't work. Hale and one other guy, Shepard, got injected with PURE Chimeran DNA, not a hybrid like everyone else. If you play Resistance 2 a lot is answered and even more questions are asked
