so it basically runs an linux firewall on the pc off loading the usaul firewall into the stick..so why not just boot with a linux os or use a networked firewall linux pc? i would say its kinda pricey for an stick when many linux firewalls can be ran off an usb flash disc.
A linux firewall running off of a USB flash drive is NOT a computer. It would still require you to allow the traffic INTO the computer before the software could analyze the traffic. The safety of the Yoggie method is that the traffic is safely analyzed away from your OS.
I like it. Though personally I don't run ANY anti-virus software on my systems. I just auto-reimage them every few days. It takes all of 5 minutes and it keeps me running nice and clean.
