First of all, i love how everyone is acting as if this is the last mini on the planet. Rest assured, the death of ONE mini has no effect on anyone else (even though this didn't hurt the car at all). And there are PLENTY left for everyone else. Second of all this was PAID for my mini themselves, so they aren't just some rich punks. Even if it wasn't a paid ad, it's THEIR car, not yours, they can do what ever the hell they want with it!

JUST for the record! People, who know nothing about what they are talking about. This was a internet ONLY ad... A teaser ad for the upcoming Cabrio launch. THE CAR! DUH! Was a pre production model. Guess what happened to it! Used as a test car, THEN CRUSHED! I think water is the least of it's "troubles".

hmmm......I don't think I'd classify all of them as asinine, I think some are quite clever. This one just set me off. I hate seeing things get trashed just for the hell of it, even in a commercial. why do all think that the car is crashed? it's a little bit of water and soap. every cabrio in the world would work after a 'open carwash' or a heavy rainshower. my one (old vw beatle) survived a 3h rain/hail storm - open. i've its worse you have to replace some clipings, thats it.
