Remember first seeing the Vulcan in July 1973 following the F-101 Voodoos Squadron. The Vulcan was the highlight of the whole Air Show. Went to the annual Air Show again in July 1974. Only the Voodoos Squadron was there not the Vulcan. It really was a let down.It missed the 1975 Air Show too but returned in 1976 and 1977 Air Shows. To this day it ranks as my favorite baddest ass Aircraft seeing on flying display along with seeing the Concorde and the B1 Bomber.
went to the show on sunday just to see xh558 the amount of times ive seen her and never seen her fly due to faults on the day, so ive waited 3 years to see this and i must say ive never seen a big bomber aircraft perform and handle like a flighter so well and have a rate of climb like this before and be able to go wings over and poss barrell roll ??? that day will come, cant wait to see it again (Plz donate)awesome video :-)
Loved how everyone stood up and clapped for the Vulcan, i'm 23 and loved it and understood that it was apart of British History that alway's shocks people and keeps flying due to those who help the Vulcan fund...I even donated ^_^ my 8 month old din't get to see it as he was asleep but he jumped at it even with defenders on but proud to say that he was there to see such a proud history
Was there on Saturday too, this plane is epic. It was the highlight for me along with the Red Arrows. Brilliant weekend and brilliant recording. The sound doesn't do it justice, this aircraft needs to be heard in real life! Thanks RAF Waddington!
Saw this when we were at last years show it was the highlight of my day after the pervious two years she was forced to pull out. Gutted I could'nt make this weekend.
This plane was the best of the airshow in my opinion. It was saved till last and it didn't half make the crowd excited. This is my fav plane and the noise was louder than the 4 thunderbirds which was together when taken off. Very good video Thanks for sharing. :)
was listening to airshow fm they said it cost 2 million a year to keep this plane going and a lot of that is public donations i was an amazing sight to see great video
