The reason they have so many other artists of the time playing is that Steely Dan's members were all session artists to begin.They got together and thats why they have such a unique and professional sound. Make sense? One of my most favorite bands of all time!

I took off on my Honda trail bike and this song in my head. I remember flying through the fields on the ridge at Old Goodrich Rd., smelling blossoming wild flowers. Trust me, losing jobs and trying to make a mortgage payment was far more "bullying" than that ever was. Yes, it was relatively traumatic, but I get an adrenalin hit everytime I remember it. Guess its all in how you choose to let things control your memories...or whether you control them! I actually thank God for the experience!

It rocked, the lyrics were fascinating, if inscrutable, and there were riffs and influences from the best jazz.
