@pntdblack Remember that it is quite difficult to drive very fast with only one hand on the wheel and the other on the radio. It also takes a good 5min.+ for backup to get there since this is in L.A. In 5min., the bike will be long gone. I still don't encourage running because its a felony, but one cop in a victoria isn't going to be able to keep up with a 600 for 5 minutes.

Police can't legally chase when they lose sight of the rider! Easy court win, they're saved. One bike can get ahead far enough to remove his jacket and do a U turn. The single rider remaining can slow down riding solo, and if he's stopped for "mistaken identity", says, "Yeah those two bozo's passed me 5 minutes ago, where were you?" I always ride in pairs, split up when you hear sirens. I bet next year the cops will be on CBR1000rr's.
