I didn't really like this movie. Maybe if I had seen it when it first came out, before everybody started talking about how great it is, I might of liked it better.

i can see why people would get confused watching this. i actually understood this movie and it all made sense to me..storyline is genius i love this movie

I was looking forward to this, but Actors should learn that if we want to hear about their latest film that doesn’t translate into “tell us your views on the oil spill and let that snowball into another dimension of stupidity unrelated to the film.” DiCaprio and friends won't see any of my money.
I absolutely love Christopher Nolan for the fact that he tries to steer as far away as possible from CGI effects. He even said so in the bonus material for TDK. CGI is the laziest special effect in the history of film and sticks out like a sore thumb every fucking time. I have absolutely no clue why it is used so often nowadays other than sheer laziness and I don't know how any decent director could stoop to using real life props to something that turns out looking like a fucking cartoon.

@maverick1520: I wouldn't say he is the new Kubrick. Far from that and I am an avid Kubrick fan/follower. I would liken Nolan to maybe the new Hitchcock since Nolan takes more from the suspense genre than anything. None the less, this flick willbe awesome. Nolan has not made a bad movie in my opinion. I thought Insomnia was a little weak but when you consider how dark the original was and that Nolan was working with WB on it, there had to be some compromises.
I wouldn't shoot down the Kubrick comparison. They both apparently have very good relationships with Warner Brothers. They both have extreme control over the final cuts of their films with little studio interference. They both have a string of good films. And admittedly the comparison kind of ends there. I guess the next Kubrick would dabble in a variety of genres, since ol' Stan made comedies, period pieces, science fiction, horror, and more. I love that guy.

Chris Nolan is all about the Intellegent films, which is a reason why his Batman movies are the better (best) of the comic book movies, and i have no doubt this will triumph the dark knight

Umm, i don't know which box office record your getting information from, but Avatar surpassed Titanic within a month. Dark knight is 3rd and Titanic is 2nd. I suspect, Avatar 2 will beat 1st one.

I was looking forward to this, but Actors should learn that if we want to hear about their latest film that doesn’t translate into “tell us your views on the oil spill and let that snowball into another dimension of stupidity unrelated to the film.” DiCaprio and friends won't see any of my money.

I absolutely love Christopher Nolan for the fact that he tries to steer as far away as possible from CGI effects. He even said so in the bonus material for TDK. CGI is the laziest special effect in the history of film and sticks out like a sore thumb every fucking time. I have absolutely no clue why it is used so often nowadays other than sheer laziness and I don't know how any decent director could stoop to using real life props to something that turns out looking like a fucking cartoon.

Lol at load at what the commentator states at the end, "is this film going to be all visual with no brains". Obviously, she doesn't know who Christopher Nolan is. Probably one of the few great directors like Scorsese, David Fincher, ect... that place the story line above all else.

@maverick1520: I wouldn't say he is the new Kubrick. Far from that and I am an avid Kubrick fan/follower. I would liken Nolan to maybe the new Hitchcock since Nolan takes more from the suspense genre than anything. None the less, this flick willbe awesome. Nolan has not made a bad movie in my opinion. I thought Insomnia was a little weak but when you consider how dark the original was and that Nolan was working with WB on it, there had to be some compromises.

I wouldn't shoot down the Kubrick comparison. They both apparently have very good relationships with Warner Brothers. They both have extreme control over the final cuts of their films with little studio interference. They both have a string of good films. And admittedly the comparison kind of ends there. I guess the next Kubrick would dabble in a variety of genres, since ol' Stan made comedies, period pieces, science fiction, horror, and more. I love that guy.

Chris Nolan is all about the Intellegent films, which is a reason why his Batman movies are the better (best) of the comic book movies, and i have no doubt this will triumph the dark knight

However, here's what Inception has going for it: It has the director from the second highest grossing movie of all time, with the lead actor, whom leaded in the highest grossing movie of all time. :D I would be thrilled if Inception beat them all.

Umm, i don't know which box office record your getting information from, but Avatar surpassed Titanic within a month. Dark knight is 3rd and Titanic is 2nd. I suspect, Avatar 2 will beat 1st one.

Hmmm, I don't think so. Nolan is clearly a very intelligent man and a very perceptive director who knows a good story and more importantly, how to tell it. This movie looks to have a the same flair in it's visuals that Memento had in it's narrative

I know, who the hell is she to question Christopher Nolan (Whos' every movie is great, layered, and deep.) Nolan will probably make this movie visually exciting and extremely profound and thought provoking. Has he ever done less. Even his 2nd tier movies are better than almost everybody elses. And Leo DiCaprio a distraction? He is one of our finest actors. He brings his over-whelming talent to every movie. Immersing himself so far into the role, that you forget he's anyone but the character.

What idiot demographic is this thing going for? Introducing Inception starting with Di Caprio first and Nolan second? that's an outrage! If anything, Having Leonardo on board detracts from the fact that it's direted by Nolan.
