And a nice recipe it is, too..

    Thank you for posting it.

  • @TheLovie999 Thank you - I can never keep polish on my nails - it always chips off in a day no matter how many coats. I guess I do too much with my hands to wear it. Thank you so much for watching and commenting :)

  • r u related to Cici? If so u are like twins...a trick for some of your readers who do not wish to roll the wrappers if they buy a plastic peirogi maker it is much easier to close the gyoza and can be found online and are very cheap: also I freeze my gyoza by putting them on cookie sheets individually and let them freeze then bag them in freezer bags for future use....but seriously r u and Cici related?

  • @blondee47 Hi - no we are not related - I like the pierogi maker idea - thank you for sharing :)

  • wow great video-can't wait to eat again

  • your husband is a lucky man

  • Those are fantastic , Ive never had them with the cabbage , looks really good...!!

  • Sounds so delicious. I will have to try these soon. Thank you!

  • i can't wait to try this. what can i use instead of shao shing wine?

  • @lx3100 You can use either cooking sherry or a mix of half rice vinegar and half water :)

  • I love potstickers!!! I'll try to make them too!! YUMMM! :)

  • Why do you need to add water?

  • @collinyeo the water evaporates and helps then steam.

  • @11Anti11 I know but why the process? Is it the standard? Cause I remember seeing a hawker didn't put in water but it still taste superb.

  • @collinyeo The water steams so that the meat inside cooks through :)

  • Can they be deep fried.?

  • @melody25631 they sure can be deep fried..sooooo goood

  • I love your recipes and my boyfriend does too! The first time I cooked for him, I made a chicken/vegetable stir-fry using your marinade and sauce and he LOVED it! He doesn't cook at all, but wants to start by using your recipes!

  • @claresa14 Thank you so much - I'm so glad he liked the stir fry and is going to start cooking! Thank you for sharing this :)

  • do you have a dip sauce recipe?

  • YUMM!!! can these be considered as dumplings also? omg I really like this recipe - thanks !!! <3

  • can i substitute the meat with tofu?

  • @StephanieRoze Yes; you can use the extra firm tofu, just crumble it and cook it with the seasonings first. Then fill the wrappers :)

  • I made these yesterday, they tasted AMAZING!

Thanks Lila! looking forward to more awesome dishes! <3

  • @UltraPeachy Thank you so much for trying these :)

  • Gyoza - my favorite snack.

  • Yum!!

  • @AsianCookingmadeEasy- Lila, do you recommend any other types of cooking oils that you can cook the potstickers with, in case you know of people with peanut allergies?

  • @TurgeonFan77132 Hi -You can use corn or vegetable oil instead of the peanut oil. Thank you for watching :)

  • yummy!

  • Hi Lila!

I made them using finely minced shrimp (raw, it cooks fast) instead of meat.

Also, ground chicken or turkey work great. The same filling also works with wonton skins.

  • @ZalisMR The shrimp sounds delicious! Thank you :)

  • this looks incredible . thanks for sharing. thumbs up!!!

  • This looks so good..I want some....Chef EV

  • These look delicious, you must have pretty good dexterity to make the pleats that uniform.

  • Your voice sounds like a cartoon character. No offense lol

  • Why not use vegetable oil instead of corn oil?

  • @Autofanatic28 Here I actually used peanut oil, but you can use corn or vegetable as well :)

  • sorry for mistake i clicked on dislike, actually i really like this recipe, so so sorry :((((

and i do love this potstickers, we use to served them with chinese vinager and slices ginger :))))

  • I love potstickers! They look delicious Lila! Your hubby is a lucky guy I know that you guyz eat good! You know the old way to a mans heart thingy......:)

  • Pot stickers aren't pot stickers without the sauce!

  • @joycloud Your outta your mind...................sauce is optional depending on how gyoza are served!

  • @MrEZCooking nope nope nope

  • @joycloud In general gyoza are served with the minimum of a vinegar/soy dipping sauce, but in the modern way foods are "fused" together these days the traditional dipping sauce is not always served. Now, I should pull back because if it is done in a traditional way then yes you are correct and I did not take that into consideration!

  • @MrEZCooking With fusion, I could see it.

  • @joycloud Sometimes I jump the gun! I use gyoza in my Japanese cucer salad and therefore there is not dipping sauce, but there is a Vietnamese style dressing! No harm, no foul!

  • Wonderful video !

  • You wouldn't happen to have a recipe for pot sticker sauce would you? :)

  • I love these.....Great job!!!

  • omggg so fricken yummyyyy!!!!!

  • omg I LOVE potstickers! Thanks for the recipe!
