I just found this Nancy Kovack tonight. Iam 34, and seen her on the first episode of Bewiched (she played Darrins ex-fiancee). My god, I had to see MORE. Shes incredible. Of course I wasnt alive then, but times seemed soo much easier then. Beauty, glamour, class..it showed in Hollywood..in showed in cars, clothes etc. hats off Nancy..youre new fan from your home state of Michigan..MCP
I fell in love with Nancy when I first saw her in Elvis Presley's movie Frankie and Johnny. 1965 I think. She played Nellie Bly in the movie. Her beauty captivated me right there and then, and still does to this day at the age of 55. What a screaming siren she is. Alot of class and beauty.
That episdoe of Trek she was in - her make-up and hair were done in such a way, that i never would have guessed it was her - even after finding out - it's amazing how different she looked compared to that "Swingin' 60's, Sinatra gal" thing she had going prior to it . On top of it all - there's a scene where she is saving Kirk's life with a voodoo type ritual in which she literally is screaming/moaning as though she's ... well I'll let you figure it out (look it up). Extremely HOT.
@jwill5587 - it's really odd, because she was so different in that episode of trek (yes, very sexy, very wild - great actress, etc.etc) ...but she' altogether a different sexy woman in all of the other stuff ... I suppose an arguable comparison is - in 99% of everything she is a brick-house, early 60's "Frank Sinatra-style" Jet-Set woman that the Sinatra-era of cool guy wanted. In Star Trek, she is a "post-summer-of-love" gypsy-style California-cool, witchy woman. Much different. Both wild.
thanks for posting this!! as a golden blonde, she gets my vote as the most glamorous ever...so far off the charts it's not even funny. I first saw her as Clio in that Bewitched episode, and never forgot it.
