  • I personally thought that John Rolfe looked better than John Smith. But I was SO depressed when she went with Rolfe at the end. I couldn't help but feel that Smith saw her first.

  • i liked this movie but the sad part is that in real life pocahontas actually died on the voyage going back to her homeland...

  • I'll tell you where to go. YOU GO WITH JOHN SMITH DAMN IT!!!!

  • i remember eveywindow or mirror i saw i would go up and put my hand too when i was little like pocahantes did with the vision of john smith :)

  • i like the new dude better then john anyways I'm glad she went with him

  • what a song...what a singer!!!

  • I was so sad when this series ended. I remember crying to my mother saying "pocahontas went away mommy!" Lolz, POCAHONTAS FOREVER!!!!

  • This movie does not exist. Its just an elaborate daydream I'm having.

  • I REALLY HATE POCAHONTAS 2¡¡¡

D:< pocahontas 1 is the best u_ú the mesagge was the best in this movie

  • stupid slut, you were supposed to choose John Smith -.-, i still love both films though....

  • I guess disney bent to those people who are constantly complaining about the histocal inaccuracy...and although by the time this movie came out I was well aware that she did marry Rolfe, I still hoped she ended with Smith in keeping with the first...

  • Am I the only one here who actually liked John Rolfe more than John Smith?

  • @KeiHime013 Don't worry I did too, and how many people actually marry their first love anyway?

  • @Iwuzhere321 The rest of the Disney Princesses? lol

Yeah, Pocahontas was special because she showed that there was a happy ever after when the first didn't turn out the way you wished it be.

  • @KeiHime013 PEOPLE not characters

  • JOHN SMITH!

  • Aww, guys :( These movies (Pocahontas & Pocahontas II) were based on Pocahontas' real life centuries ago. She saved John Smith's life but married & died in John Rolfe's arms at the age of 22.

Of course everyone loved seeing her with John Smith, but also, the movie spins around Pocahontas & her different paths to chose, just like part 1. In this 1 she had to chose between the 2 Johns. The princess made a great choice to be with someone who really cares.

  • @SallovesMJ either way the second movie was just as historically innacurate as the first

  • @JessicaAmezquita1995 I know what you mean, but in order for a historical character to be transformed into a Disney princess, it takes a little bit changing :)

  • @countrystrata Now look...I'm being as nice as I can. Now shut the fuck up and listen :) I may be an Anime fan but I never say that the story is wrong. It's an opinion and as a writer I understand, opinions are good for the story. Your not going to make everyone happy. You, lil miss goodie two shoes can stop it now. Anime fans are obsessed its a passion we have for the series. And if we think something didn't go right WE WILL STATE OUR OPINION!

  • was this in Pocahontas 1 or 2? srry i odnt no because i hav never seen pocahontas. im gonna get a new dvd of it cuz my bro ruined the last 1 befor i watched it :(

  • @countrystrata I never once said it was bad I was simply stating that you didn't have to so harsh. I'm a Disney fan too. I can recite the whole entire lion king movie as well. All 3 of them to be exact. It's their opinions they're allowed to speak it if they want to :) and yes I'm an Anime fan

  • @Panty69Stocking anime fan, that explains a lot then. idk about you but anime fans are too obsessed. they don't state what they write as 'opinions' they state it as facts. it's the writer's story and characters to do with as he/she wants. people should respect that isn't of saying the write is an idiot and should have put character A with character H instead of character C. i guarantee very few, if any, of those people don't know how to actually write a story, a good story that can be published.

  • honestly, we don't give a shit about historical truth or facts. we just want our love story and childhood back

  • ok does anyone SEE that this whole 'guy gets the girl' cliche is totally out of hand?? you people only want her with Smith because that's how typical romance movies get. she did not get with Smith because IN REAL LIFE she was like 10 when she first met him and when she grew up she married ROLFE. Disney did right in BOTH of these Pocahontas movies. GET OVER IT, PLEASE??????????? I BEG YOU :(

  • @countrystrata But... It's a childrens Disney movie. Everyone grew up loving her with John Smith. Its kinda like a childhood let down. Ya know? Well.. Obviously you don't. I never quite grasped the fact that she DIDN'T get with John Smith until i learned why. Its still a movie. And not all the Disney movies follow the same story. The Little Mermiad was incredibly depressing, the original story. But they made it a happy ending :)

  • @Panty69Stocking by chance are u an anime fan? n what do u mean 'i dont know'?? i grew up with these movies. u'll find no bigger disney fan than me. i can cite the lion king front/back, back/front, from middle 2 both ending & beginning & backwards along with other disney. u psycho fans need to stop telln the creators of cartoons what they should hav done just cuz U want it a certain way. u won't like it if some1 RUDELY told u what u should have done with a project u did. they r the professionals

  • I love how noone knows the name of 'the brown haired guy' but everyone knows John. Fact.

  • I LOVE THIS MUSIC :D :D :D :D

  • If you loved the first movie but have not yet seen the second movie,

IN THE NAME OF WALT DISNEY DO NOT WATCH IT, IT WILL DESTROY YOU.

Just watch the lovely music videos.

  • @starfishify1 oh no it won't destroy you. Disney did a great job on both of these movies.

  • To John Smith!! You go to John Smith damn it!

  • I was aware there was a second movie D:

  • I'm probably one of the only people who has watched the original movie when I was little, and wasn't disappointed/angry that Pocahontas ended up with John Rolfe in this movie...after all, it IS more historically accurate...

  • @naotoshirogane1 I was disappointed until I learned the real history

  • When she goes for the brown haired guy in this movie instead of John, a new part of my childhood just dies.

  • @omnomnomMADDI Exactly,

  • I love how this Pocahontas is historically inaccurate, lol! Actually, i do love her shoes! =D

  • The voice actress would play a great Eponine in Les Misérables!

  • This is actually a sequel that doesn't bother me as much because the real Pocahontas did travel to England. Of course, the real story was quite different before it was Disneyfied.

  • i wonder if any body found the compass? lol

  • Yo Poca, I grew up as a child believing in the magic you had with John Smith. As an adult, you lied and killed me inside with this movie.

But I'll admit ...I LOVE this song prior to the end. <3

  • people say in real life we don't stick to one person and thats mostly true but that's what disney has always been about, that magic of finding 'the one'. It's meant to magic. Brilliant song though, totally amazing!

  • I always had a crush on that cartoon when I was younger! lol Mainly cause of her long hair, but that wasn't the only reason! lol But either way, she is a pretty hot cartoon! lol

  • when i was little i use to want to be like her..still do lol

  • does it rlly matter who she ended up with?? you cant help who u fall for ! what matters is the magic u felt when you watched theses movies. the excitment tht would build up in u. XD to be honest i love the sequel! i love these movies!

  • This is such a good graduation song! Kinda sad though...

  • This movie depresses me. I used to love pochantas. You disney princesses are supposed to stick with ONE man. That meant NO fluttering around! >:'(

  • @AbbyAW they kinda half decommissioned her and ignore her for the most part now :P. The latest dolls didn't contain her and they didn't put her voice actresses into the Hall of Fame with Jasmine, Mulan, Belle, and Ariel.

  • @AbbyAW Pocahontas is realistic(though innacurate). Seriously how many woman do you know get married to the first guy they meet at high school age.

  • @AbbyAW Well... I guess they tried to base it off of real life. But I don't know if she ever was even with Smith irl o__O

  • OMG! IN THE BEGING WAS "BROTHER BEAR!!" I love that movie.

  • This song made the whole sequel worth it for me.

  • this video made me cold

  • i love it

  • I cried so hard at the end of this movie from disappointment my parents thought something was going on at school that I wasn't telling them. They wouldn't believe I was so upset that she didn't go with John Smith. First huge disappointment of my life.

  • @Awkwardtunity People break up in real life, and history says she does not marry Smith. :S

I wasn't disappointed at all, I thought it made for a good story, explaining how just because there is love, it wont mean they will always be together.

  • @Kikora21 but i do mind, because she did choose the wrong pad

  • @lovemaria15 Based on what you saw in a movie? Seriously? Do you have any idea how immature and bratty that makes you sound?

  • @Kikora21 no, not in the fim, I have readen the whole story. and I am not so immature as you, you don't even know that you're kidding of my book. omg grow up, so now you know i have the whole story about her

  • @lovemaria15 I am not convinced you know how to read, based on that reply.

  • @Kikora21 o oke, let's forget all this, just enyou this film.

  • @Awkwardtunity same here :/ i thought she choose Smith and Adventure....tse D:

  • @Awkwardtunity i thought i was the only one, so mad

  • Pocahontas, stop flittering! Choose John Smith and STICK with him! D: Don't just bounce to Rolfie just because you thought John was dead...

  • The voice of Pocahontas is Lea Salonga ? Right everybody ?

  • @tuandatlxag Sorry, it's Judy Kuhn. Lea Salonga isthe singing voices of Jasmine and Mulan, though :)

  • @tuandatlxag Judy Kuhn I think, her singing voice at least

  • I know tons of people don't like the sequal at all because of John Rolf (even though it's historically true she married Rolf and had a son with him), but you have to admit this is a POWERFUL song, and totally beautiful <3

  • .... could've sworn that necklace was destroyed in the first movie... >.>

  • @SweetPuffyPenguins It was repaired at the end of the first one.

  • @SweetPuffyPenguins the animals fixed it and gave it back to her in the end

  • <3 how she ends up with John Rolfe in the movies, but if you go to a Disney store, they don't have him with her, they have the John SMITH dolls!!

Will always prefer Smith to Rolfe

  • I wish they made alt endings, problem solved but yah I'm sad they didn't ='( I'm a John Smith fan

  • I like John Ralphe...unlike some people *glares at the haters*

  • The songs really pretty, just didn't like the 2 one. Disney team john smith

  • Um.....Well i like john smith also but...fyi its a movie xD sorry ...Lol I kinda like the new guy im pretty flexible...unlike most ~points at all you people~ NO AFFENCE DONT EAT ME ._.;!

  • "Where do i go from here"? Sweetie that's simple.... Go to John Smith!

I've said this before i'll say it again.

  • I HATE that the new youtube videos go to mute when you go to another tab ;(

  • i love this song, and i love both the movies. their both awsome XD

  • Pocahontas can SANG!!!!!!

  • I would have really would have hate to live her life she got kidnaped thats how she got to england she was only I think around the age 12-14 and died of small pox

  • @lorglorgthesyborg u sure your not talking about Sacajawea

  • Comment removed

  • @ingrid98R Uh, no, John died a decade before Sacajawea was even born....

  • the compass is still pointing to john smith in this scene... lol

  • Sure, most movies don't care about realism but I didn't mind her choosing JR as a child because it WAS a historical fact and she changed. "My world has changed, and so have I. I've learned to choose, and even learned to say goodbye." She's matured, she's going to see a little broader, she's not going to want the same things she wanted when she couldn't think for herself. I say that because she would ask Grandmother Willow for help but notice she doesn't as much. Good song for a sequel too. XD

  • in my opinion this is an awesome movie with awesome songs and awesome characters even though i hate the fact that she didn't stick with john smith (which she so should have, hes so much better ) x

  • I don't see why everyone has a problem with John Rolfe

Pocahontas moved on and it's understandable considering John Smith was gone for a long time

also John Rolfe and pocahontas is a part of history she really did marry John Rolfe

  • i LOVE this sonng but i dont like the 2nd movie.... she should have married john smith like ok she married the other john in real liifee but who cares

JOHN SMITH ALL THE WAY <3 :'(

  • This actually was a good sequel, along with The Lion King 2 and Beauty and The Beast. <3

  • Seeing Smith at 1:12 made me cry so much.

I know that historically Pocahontas married John Rolfe, but when did films ever care about history?

In my opinion, she definitely should have stayed with John Smith. He was an amazing person and they were so in love, it really did seem like they were meant to be.

I personally never watch Pocahontas anymore, because I find both films too sad to handle.

  • @Veruka311096 Historically, she didn't even live to be as old as she is in the first movie. She died of smallpox at 23, and she'd married John Rolfe when she was 16 and met John Smith when she was 12 (and he was about 40-something). That being said, on the storytelling side of things the switch is utterly senseless and ruins one of the few good endings in a Disney movie. Ugh, PC sequels.

  • This is the only reason I liked this movie. I know in actual history she did marry John Rolfe, BUT FUCK DISNEY. FIRST MOVIE SHE WAS IN LOVE WITH JOHN SMITH AND SHE STAYED WITH HER TRIBE. STICK TO YOUR DAMN STORY. DON'T MAKE A MISLEADING SEQUEL TO BOTH CASH IN ON IT AND CORRECT YOUR OBVIOUS HISTORICAL MISTAKE.

    Gawd.

  • The video looks so much prettier when you add the snowflakes in it... :)

  • I HATE it! --> i learnd to choose and even to say goodbye.." sees john smith in reflections"

    so sad :(

  • yo

  • This is a prophetic song, that intermarriage started whole generations of natives that don't know "where do i go from here". sad!

  • i think she sings better in the 1st movie but thats just my personal opinion lmao

  • Anyone notice that the first Pocahontas was drawn drastically different from this one? Same with the other Disney movies? It looked more real (even though it was drawn) than the sequels. It's like the animators got a bit, I don't know, lazy?

  • @TheTrinity848

Unfortunately, the same animators don't work on sequels and the budgets aren't very big, thus = horrible animation. I try to look past that on good sequels like this one though. =]

  • Hate the movie but I have to admit this is a quality song

  • So that's where Captain Jack Sparrow got his compass!

  • I guess this song was pretty good but I think Bridge of Love is the best.

  • You guys compare this to history you obviously don't know the real story. It was tragic she was forced to marry and was taken away from her home. Disney make its all happy and I like the movie but that's not what happened!! The only thing that's the same is her protecting smith from being killed. That's it. Everything else is inaccurate. So can it. Disney could have made her choose smith it wouldn't have mattered since non of this is accurate!!

  • SHES SCHIZOPRENIC, lolz jk

  • blarg she should have ended up with Smith! i mean everything else wasnt historically accurate, so why not jus make her end up with smith!!!

  • @Finnigan934 I know right!!! Don't try to change it up now!!! >:0

  • Honestly, neither movie follows history well. They might as well had her choose smith. Since in real history she was about 11 and he was like 40... No love connection there

  • I don't get why people don't look at history. she didn't marry john smith. she married the other guy -_-

  • The whole second film is a mistake! She was about 10 years old when she first met John smith and it wasn't until she's was about 16 that she came to England where she married John smith and he was the cause of her death.. He gave her syphilis, her body is laid to rest in greenhithe in Kent which is where I grew up. I always loved this film when I was little as I felt apart of it but knowing the truth about it also ruined it for me.

  • @Scottiieb I thought she married John Rolfe.

  • @Scottiieb She didn't marry John Smith. She married the guy from the second movie. I forgot his name, but it wasn't John.

  • @AmyLeeGonce john rolfe!

  • @AmyLeeGonce His name was John Rolfe ahaha

  • @AmyLeeGonce Wait, was this supposed to be a joke?

  • @1mwyz Nope my history teacher who was a college professor told us that when we got to the subject.

  • @Scottiieb she died of smallpox not syphilis

  • @Scottiieb i'm sorry, but i very very very want to know, why did he gave her syphilis!?

  • Apparently, she got her John's mixed up.

    I'm mentally slapping her.

  • your supposed to go to john smith!

  • you go to John Wolfe in English and have kids and your distant decedent is a computer geek!

  • @Narutofan99991 Where'd you learn her decendant is a computer geek?

  • I totally 100% agree with you. I like the second movie but I hate that she goes for the other guy.

  • shes asking me where should she go from here ? BACK TO JOHN SMITH NOT THAT OTHER GUY ! it still makes me sad to think that she chose the other dude . to me , John Smith will ALWAYS be Pocahontas's prince .

  • @tarydancergurl I agree that she should've stuck with john smith. But I guess they were trying to be historically accurate....

  • @tarydancergurl except in real life john smith raped Pocahontas while she was about 13

  • @OACYLU Was that confirmed? I'd always read that it was Thomas Dale.

  • @tarydancergurl Well, she ended up with Rolfe in real life, so.

  • 1:18 Goodbye?! What?! No! Where do you go? I'll tell you where you go! BACK TO JOHN SMITH!!

  • i actually liked this sequel it was good

  • 82 people never had a real childhood

  • You know after watching Cinderella 3, I have to say I have new apprechiation for this movie. It fucking tried. It may not be the best but it has nice songs, it adds to the story and it doesn't make me wanna cry. So yeah, to all you people complaining, watch Cinderella 3 or Hunchback of Notre Dame 2 or Ariel's begining that fuck up what was good about the originals (or in Ariel's begining's case just confusses fans of the tv series).

  • this movie ruined Pocahontas and John Smith's love and i refuse to beleive it ever happend. forget history, i DONT CARE! Pocahontas loved John, then suddenly she likes Rolwf (or however they spelt it)!? i hated it! i pratically threw this movie at a wall after i first saw it when i was11.

  • @Moonshadows22 Forget history...?

Last time I checked [which was a while ago] Pocahontas DID marry John Smith...

So, yeah. this movie was inaccurate anyway.

Now, remember, I haven't looked up the history in a while, so I might be wrong. DON't bite my head off.

  • @PhoenixFireeye nope she married did Rolfe not Smith. :)

  • @countrystrata I guess it's true. You learn [or, in my case, RELEARN] something every day.

    Thanks!

  • @PhoenixFireeye if you wanna know more about it and what in the movie is true facts and whats not go check out pocahontas.morenus.org

  • @Moonshadows22 um in real life she was like 10 when she first met Smith she might have had a small crush on him but she definately wan't "in love" with him. you have to see that 1 disney guy wanted a history movie with the real facts that actually happened and another disney guy wanted the typical disney romance movie...this movie was the out come. they had to compromise.

  • The biggest mistake I did was buying the video tape since I was not able to see it in the cinema. God, it was so awful, and so RUDE towards Pocahontas' free spirit, her independance and idealism and love to John Smith that I threw it away after the first watch >(

  • Where do the leaves come from?! It's winter.

  • @johnnypink312 i've seen leaves in winter. they're left over from the fall.

  • The sequel killed my childhood!!!

  • Okay, I'm not sure if people realise this is loosely based on a true story? She actually DID marry John Rolfe

  • @mrrubyrain That's right.

  • @mrrubyrain and she died when she was like 21!

  • @mrrubyrain the sad part that they didn't show in the movie is on her way back she was poisened while pregent and she died before she could make it back home

  • @Mermain123 she died of small pox

  • wow some people have got disney issues lol, not trying to start arguments but just saying its a film, relax its just a film and admittedly not what i would call "a disney classic" but still calm breathe people :)

  • Okay, I'll admit that this is a good song. The songs, in general, are pretty good for a Disney sequel. This, however, doesn't change the fact that this movie is AWFUL.

  • @FlippedChik628 You obviously do not get the message in it.

  • first film was gazillion times better !! i miss John Smith :( they should have just killed him in the first movie or she should've came with him to London, actually i don't care what happens as long as John Rolf does not enter the picture :/

  • I used to love pocahontas :) I always wanted to be like her (still do in some ways) my mom even made me a pocahontas dress when I was little. But I absolutely don't like her singing voice, it shakes way too much. the german version is better

  • @AnonymeAnimal its called vibrato

  • @JuanDVene I was just about to say this!! :D

  • @JuanDVene kay it's almost only vibrating. d'ya know if it's the same voice as in the first movie? cuz I like her singing there she sounds better

  • can some one send me a link to see the second one cuz i only watched the first one ppllzz

  • I watch the sequal and then stop it before she picks John Rolfe haha

  • i dont get it why did they all of a sudden make john smith out to be a heartless jerk in the second movie? that sucked!! he was so much better than john rolfe i mean come on! lets just get one thing straight THE FIRST MOVIE IS ALWAYS BETTER THAN THE SECOND!

p.s. pocohontas is my favorite movie and favorite princess :)

    90's FOREVR! <3

  • What conditioner does she use? No tangles, no winter frizz; must be really good! XD

  • @TiffTiff4077 ikr

  • Luv this song

  • Where do you go, Pocahontas ? WHERE DO YOU GO ?!

Go back to John Smith ! D:<

  • @xKhloeLielo amén

  • @xKhloeLielo Lol I agree this movie would have been alot better if she had still a good movie overall & the song is good also but my my top 3 sequels are 1.The Lion King 2 Simba's Pride, 2.Beauty & The Beast The Enchanted Christmas, 3. The Little Mermaid 2 Return To The Sea & my no1 prequel is The Lion King 3 Hakuna Matata

  • @xKhloeLielo

i know, i hate the fact that she ended up with that other guy. After all they went through in the first movie. When I was little and I watched this I was like "What!? What happened to John Smith?

  • HAHA. i came here because of the carpenter's song "where do i go from here" and i thought, how the hell would they work that into a disney film!?! different song.

  • 0:24 Kenai and Koda?

also at that time, am I the only one that noticed that Pocahontas froze, like her face movements... Even her hair!

  • @naturegirl148 it is a memory the bears are not there. The bears are having their wintersleep
