This is great! I see you play a lot of Townes songs. Though I wasn't around to see him play live, I was lucky enough to be introduced to him when I was 15 by a friend who had the Live at the Old Quarter album. He became a big influence for me - I've even written a talkin' blues song, though it's not my usual songwriting style. :)

The concert was superb, one of the best in a long time. I've recently seen Steve Earle and Nanci Griffith and this one was right up in that apartment too... splendid songwriting and very good performances from both of 'em.

Wonderful version, I'm based in 'ol Europe ;-) so I think it's time to thank America for producing such wonderful songs. You did a great job on this one. Though I ask, can you clear the mist. Is it "I'd welcome the stars with whining guitars" or " with wine and guitars" I'd prefer the latter one.

Forgot to mention, Mark sent me over soooo, I stayed and listened again. great sound. I've heard a lot of these videos of people singing and playing in their homes I noticed the sound quality is great, like in a studio.

I recorde this onto a Samsung "Zoom H4" digital recorder. It's an amazing piece of equipment. Very small and captures sound incredibly well. Then just a USB connection to the computer and bingo... you can make MP3 or .wav files. If you record, check 'em out!
