  • @mosstrooper68 Saw them open for Van Halen in St. Louis, MO USA that year, too.

  • awwww my lady cant wait to kiss you tonight hi hi so looking forward to the show.

  • This band opened for Van Halen in early late 1992. I had never heard of them. I have never heard anything about them since.

  • @nickcaib grunge killed off bands like this

  • She looks a bit like Melissa George..

  • Anyone who dislikes this song is a complete moron. This girl can really hit the right notes but she disappeared and has never been seen again. Great lose to the australian industry, could of been the next Chrissie Amphlett.

  • @lifeguide74: Ummm....they toured in Australia in April 2008 and she's back in Australia making music. I believe they did some shows in 2009, 2010 and some in early 2011. So she HAS been seen again. Pretty recently, as a matter of fact.

  • They were an awesome band and suzi de marchi was sexy!

  • anyone go to their New Years eve concert in Rockingham, western australia?? think it was 96??

  • i rember speed skating to this as kid at the laverton roller rink as a boy on my blades good times

  • @gregs2277 LOL. I remember speed skating to this @ Carribean Rollerama.

  • @acidm0nkey haha that is epic!! i remember skating to tonnes of awesome old 90's stuff there too! too bad nowadays the dj's dont really dj they just put on a cd and when its finished they start it again, no more requests D,= that was half the fun!!

  • a debut album as good as it gets, the baby animals should have been huge for a lot longer than they were. Would definately see them play live if i had the chance.

  • saw them at day on the green they were amzing live.. gotta love aussie rock

  • she married an awesome musician also

  • Suze has an amazing voice and is the ultimate Aussie rock chick - just wish they'd stayed with this band line up.

  • She should have sang the anthem at this years Super Bowl....Na, she's too cool for that...best vocalists are virtual unknowns (not their fault...) like say Ann Peebles....Benny Mardones.....or Suze Demarchi....

  • @2bluefor1 have you ever listened to Deborah Conway? Aussie, amazing voice, great song writer. My fav album of hers is Bitch Epic-around 92 was released-im 2 lazy to check right now!

  • AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE!!!! :)

  • great song, great band. intelligent powerful songwriting with a real tough performance. they should have been HUGE. too bad they disappeared from the scene in the 90s. but reading some comments here I gather they're back? really?

  • Saw them last night. Great gig! Suze still has it big time. Awsome.

  • @bigmaxy07 As did I, awesome show. Especially from the centre of the front row.

  • Excellent, they sort of disappeared though, where are they now? Great song, band and love the girl, Suze is her name?

  • @staunched yeah Suze DeMarchi married to Nuno Bettencourt..guess she's a full time mom now :)

  • I love this band and there just so fking great far better then todays crap

  • I saw them in Broome back in 97 at the Roey. Great show. Handed her my beer which she poured all over herself. orsm

  • Great!!!

  • Damn!! This woman is FINE!!

  • suze is my favourite female rock vocalist of all time. the rest of the world really missed out....

  • Its a shame they didn`t go big there music is KEWL

  • great song from beginning to end!

  • Suze deMarchi makes me go a big rubbery one...

  • froth,,, how did these guys not make it to the big time??

  • Sounds like a girl version of Guns n Roses especiall the intro. Thumbs up if you agree

  • God she's cute !

  • great great great

  • First time I've ever even heard of this band. Awesome. Hot singer. I think if they had relocated to L.A. they would have been huge here.

  • Great band who typified the true rock and roll ethos - live hard, die young and leave a good-looking corpse.

  • I know the bass player from this band... And when I heard he was the bass player from this band I thought to check it out. Being of gen Y I naturally assumed the music was crap because it's so old and generally I hate really old music but it's not crap, it quite good actually.

  • What fabulous memories ;) SWEET!.

  • Suze stopped mid song to tell off some hero bouncers, who had me in a headlock trying to throw me out for pogo dancing with my mates. Needless to say they let me go and we enjoyed the rest of this great gig.

    SUZE ROCKS

  • gotta luv girl rockers!! :)

  • that was when music was really played with heart..and lead guitarist really and played not like guitar heros do now...oh yeah girl you rock! so where are you now?

  • The Baby Animals are still around and Suze deMarchis vocals still kick arse.

  • I just heard of them today, they sound good. I wasn't expecting to like them, but i do!

  • KICK ASS SONG AND HOT HOT HOT SUZE !!!!

  • noone can complain they did well for emselves

  • the music is good but the singer sucks.

  • she's such a lucky girl she married nuno bettencourt from extreme

  • in my opinion suze demarchi is one of the best female vocalists pf all tme, and the whole band completey under rated

  • absolutely!!!! couldn't agree more!!! saw her a wek ago at southern cross club, canbera, she is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

  • @coldethyl86 I hear you, & to see them live was amazing, they sounded even better then on the albums.

  • @coldethyl86 Suzi need surgery on her vocal cords. They also lost their major finical backer. Unfortunately the conditions weren't right for them to get more air time.

  • I used to surf around the Gold Coast area, and my view was quite straight forward (ladies with big hellos and long hair). Then I went to see this band at the old Playroom and fell in love with a woman with attitude, And I give you Baby Animals.

  • fuk awersome

  • She fucking carved it up on the 25th of Jan at the State. Seeing her and Chrissy Amphlett live was the closest thing to an epiphany I will ever have.

  • fuck they're awesome

  • shertup

  • where can i find mp4ify? pulls youtube video to mp3 or mp4 and it is free? i was told to search on any search engine for 'mp4ify'

  • yummy mummy

  • Nuno, you bastard. You stole our Suze!

Talk about a rock - chick!

  • @drumdust

I could take Nuno off your hands for ya;) Yummy!

  • @julieannlevine He's all you'rs! lol. Good luck to him.

  • @drumdust It's a deal;)

Suzi is a cutie though, so if I can't be the love of his life, I guess she's a cool chick to pick:)

  • @julieannlevine When I was a younger fella I had such a crush on her. Nuno did VERY well for himself :)

  • Wow...I love this song, the trouble is the Baby Animals have so many great songs including the new one "Got It Bad". I hope there's a new album on the way soon

  • i'm so glad they're back! Suze is one of the top 5 female rock vocalists ever.

  • Suzi Demarci is a stunner, was great seeing her on TV last night :)

  • What ever happened to this band they were doing so well then vanished

  • bringing out a new single soon from what I've heard.

  • I saw the BA when they were backing the Angels at Bankstown RSL and Revesby Roundhouse. This was before they came famous.

  • I saw the Baby animals support The Divynals on thier first night in Sydney in 1991! I saw the show the night before when the Screaming Jets were supporting and were told to tone down their act a bit . The Jets response was less than satisfactory to the promotors, so the Jets were replaced by the Baby animals the Next night ! both Nights were fantastic , and the first time I ever heard of the BA's , but not the last !

  • fuck off pillow biter, they were awesome

  • this song was used for the new season of rush on channel 10 so good to hear it being played again

  • such great music i love this band

  • That's cos in the US you are used to a slyck, over-produced straight-to-the-studio fabricated sound. Aussie pub rock usually started with 5 or 6 years playing dirty, violent and sleazy pubs before you even get offered a chance to record an album.

Not trying to be critical of the US scene, it's just very different. Oz rock tends to be more successful in places like Canada, Germany, etc.

  • LOL the Baby Animals' album was recorded in the US so they could get the slick, over-produced straight-to-the-studio fabricated sound.

  • Honest, straight up, no frills rock and roll. Hell Yeah!

  • Now THIS is how you rock the shit outta it!! Im still a huge fan of the Baby Animals. I was front row at a gig in Newcastle in the 90s..that place went fucking off!! Suze DeMarchi...*drool*!!

  • wish they had of been big

  • That voice! I wish. Oh, do I wish.

  • FUCK YEAHHHH !!!

  • wiked songggg :D

  • There's just something about Aussie rock you can't get anywhere else.

  • @roids1979 the difference is that it is raw and talented, not over produced and meaningless.

  • god I love rock`n roll..... :o)

  • Totally the way rock should be!

Turn it up proper loud and let it rip.

If this doesn't do it for you you must be as dead as old MJ.

  • This song should have been a worldwide hit!!...well done the marketing dept at peabrained records!!!!

  • @CosmoKrameryyz Not a truer word spoken...How many aussie bands that are under rated because fuckwits in the marketing dept's??..Jimmy Barnes,Vs Spy,just to name a few.....Baby Animals could have gone worldwide no doubt!

    Cheers Cosmo

  • @falcon0351 No problem mate.I saw them support Bryan Adams in Glasgow in '91 and thought to myself this band will go global due to the top drawer songwriting and the incredible presence and singing ability of Suze.If they were American im sure it may have been different!

  • @CosmoKrameryyz

I agree with you, damn shame. I have seen too many class acts passed over due to corporate uneasiness of taking a risk with new bands

  • @CosmoKrameryyz Could have been a hit...... Blame the record company for sure
