He just chose the wrong scene. The scene with the death of the protagonist's dog was the only really moving scene in the film, because the dog was his only companion at that point.

3-Strangely enough, even though I cried through most of the second half of Titanic, the most I cried was at the end when Rose died and she was in the grand hall of the ship with all those people and Jack meets her at the top of the stairs. I mean, I just completely lost it, and I never do that during movies. Jack's death was sad too though, so I'm not quite sure what happened.

Titanic definitely holds a place in your top 10, but not that scene in my opinion. Its the scene where Rose gets on the lifeboat and then second guesses herself only to climb back onto the titanic to be with Jack. You're top 10 is quite good though I agree with most everything.
