  • grammar and vocabulary issues, then again, they aren't officers

  • @joshmom100 so you are saying officers have better standards in english? also, this is Singapore for you. Not just specialists or officers.

  • @joshmom100 check out episode 6. major with good english? signed on the dotted line as a regular officer? please, learn to be humble.

  • Why dont they just roll the tires?

  • lol.04:03 per-twoon sarjen

  • we dragged 5 tonnes tyres and it was sure hell lot of difference from the 3 tonnes one that i see

  • wow there's a female trainee??

  • i seriously cant find the snipers as well. lol

  • @cyberpioneertv You want to see tough trainings, you want to shoot soldiers in shagged footages, you gotta get in on 1CDO battalion's missions.

  • When is episode 6 coming out?

  • It is only when one has been through the GCC, carried the stipulated load and experienced the sheer fatigue and muscle stress can one then finally see that this course isn't as easy as it is being portrayed in this video.

My GCC alone was tougher than any thing SISPEC (The Old SISPEC in Tekong, Rocky Hill) threw at us.

But it made us know that when we wore the Khaki Beret, we were indeed different, not just physical, but mindset as well, and this alone carried us through our entire NS days

  • @cyberpioneertv any Company Medics and Platoon Medics?

  • @voiceoflove We've got a video on SAF Combat Medics (although gotta admit it's a bit old). Just do a search on "The SAF's Combat Medics" in our channel and you should be able to find it!

  • @cyberpioneertv ya thats too old already as I know now they have better equipment and they have the "transformer" BCS tonner.

And in the old video company and platoon medics are not inside.

  • @cyberpioneertv i would like to see a feature about medics in infantry/guards batallions, if possible.

  • Could u make a video on the Commando course

  • you need to understand that singapore army very particular of safety things... especially with NSFs, i think if they had a choice to use lifejackets, we would not be swimming with lifejackets already... and i think you cant compare us to navy seals... ya we both have "mental conditioning" and "stress innoculation" but ours is so much lower because of safety restriction. But if your compare a Guards NSF unit with a Infantry NSF unit then thats another story.

  • @iantan13 Actually, many of us deflated our life-jackets and swam with it deflated because if you asked us, having a blown up life-jacket around our necks were infact, strangling us and making it harder for us to breathe. Many simply swam the 2km with a minimally inflated life-jacket. We had prior swim trainings in the pool w/o Lifejackets on (had to pass a 2km pool test before we could swim in the open water) so it wasn't much of a problem. The only major problem were jellyfishes and the waves

  • @alanptm but then again i did my GCC in 2005, so it might be a different story now. But being submerged in sea-water for upwards of an hour to 2 is really no joke. Feel like prunes after everything is over

  • @alanptm haha ya i understand, i did it too. i enjoyed the swim and the many times we had to go to the pool to clear the different levels before reaching the 2km mark. i also deflated the lifejacket during my swim cause it was dam irritating. Though mine was GAIT but 14th mono 3GDS men and commanders were legendary. i particularly enjoyed scolding ATEC OPFOR, if only cyberpioneer made a video on atec evaluation of us then... probably wouldve censored the whole video.

  • I would love to see videos on Singapore spec ops. Are there videos around YouTube? I looked but hard to find. Maybe only 1.

  • All these videos make the course looks so easy lmao...

  • @BadBeat4Lyfe If you actually carry the stipulated load and walked, ran and did the missions with it. Allow me to assure you that it is not so easy. There are many many things about the GCC that can't be felt in this videos. The muscle fatigue, sleep deprivation, frustration etc. Many of these missions and trainings occur back to back every day. Basically from the time we booked in till we booked out, hardly any rest apart from turning in time.

  • please do a video on the ranger course!

  • I was just watching a bunch of SEALs training videos, and after seeing those, this training video looks peanuts. Singapore army men need to toughen up!

  • @Tekhelet75 SEALs = Special Forces , Guards = ELITE infantrymen. Thats why SEALs training are much more tougher.

  • @CrazyQuality93 That is most certainly true. When I saw the guys in this video entering sea water with life vests on, after watching SEALs going in sea without vests, I guess the contrast just got my attention.

  • Comment removed

  • @roycechan89 That is true, and I did not mean to offend with my comment. But, I do wish Singapore army boys would enter it with a good mindset and toughen up. :)

  • @Tekhelet75

The navy seals of USA are recruited from ppl who enter the program willingly and typically from veterans. Spore army consists of mostly conscripts, the mindset and background of ppl is different. Thus there is a need to gradually build up their capability. I

  • @jyluke Yes that is true. Good response!

  • @Tekhelet75. It is an honour that you compare a US Special Force Seals and a SAF Infantry unit. However such an honour will be doubtful when we assess the quality of your evaluation and how your mindset functions, specifically your weirdo comparison. We give credit if you have had compared SAF Special Operation Task Force or SAF Special Warfare Group with USA Navy Seals. But US SF and a SAF Infantry unit? What is in your mind my old friend? And what level of toughness are you suggesting?

  • @up2wind1 With that said, these boys need to really put away the softy mentality and embrace military training in my opinion. I wonder, is it the norm for other armies to train in the water with lifevests? Watching the SEALs video, leaves one quite inspired!

  • Being a conscript army vs a full regular force, i think the SAF can't lose people unnecessarily to chance. Anyway the waves at Pasir Ris Beach is quite strong due to the presence of large ships and speedboats, so yea, safety first. But let me assure you, swimming in the open water, albeit with a lifevest on, is no simple matter. It is still quite a challenge. We probably swam more than 2KM due to the waves

  • @Tekhelet75 can u link the seal videos? would like to watch them

  • did i i just see someone cried at the end? hah. omg.

  • well done

  • My Sergeant is in this video. I am proud of him.

  • Nightsnack 2 LoL.. more chocolate buns.

  • @cyberpioneertv Do Sniper or ATGM Course too!

  • @shinova86 Hi there, we actually do have a videos on Snipers - can't post a link in the comments, but if you search "sniper" in our channel, you'll be able to find them.

  • the 2 dislike must have been exempted from NS..

  • It would make sense though if they were heading towards objective, even so, being a large scale force, it doesn't seem feasible to be hiding your trails because it will just take too long

  • @LokeWaiHoeSG I think you gotta make decisions in situations, in this case if casualties are declared means enemies have already contacted them, so I guess it means sacrificing being too tactical, besides, they're not recce either

  • somehow. seeing leftenant khairis. really scare me. of all the officers i know back in NS. he's the one that i seem to fear. damn fierce guy.

  • Dragging tires and leaving trails behind... tactical sia...

  • haha sgt devan! we wont let our fellow guardsman die ok? we have a heart also... we indented night snack for you all-----------> land rover tires A.K.A donuts LOL

  • Pegasus Coy CSM FTW!!!!

  • My initiation was tougher than that

  • huh????? FERRY TO TEKONG? What happened to coastal hook??? What happened to boating to tekong kechil and swimming to permatang coast???

  • @19Master83 Not enough time to indent boats lol

  • @ 7:31 funny shit sia... pregnant woman cannot walk fast izzit!! hahas

  • gentlemen hello waiting for what? Ice cream issit? Need skate...skate scooter or not? LOL.

  • tat Ng li beng Male or Female uh???

  • @MrFreakyzee female

  • Some of the pioneer TV programmes are quite realistic to actual SAF training. Maybe Channel News Asia can consider buying some of them and aired it to the Singaporean public. It will be good national education for the civilian population. Maybe better morale support from wivies and girlfriends along the way. Cheers for the guys in green.

  • @AHHUAT2 they had some of the BMT stuff on Nat Geo I think (Every Singaporean Son)

  • ord lo!

  • That's the Guards Spirit.

    It's that simple.

No Rambo, Guardsmen work as a Team with strong willpower & determination to accomplish missions.

    Ready To Strike!!!

  • ahh skate scooter!

  • wa. GCC now so good, can take ferry to tekong. no need swim there anymore.

  • encik!u funny siol!r.o.p = a guardsman nightmare.whats worst, specs have to go through twice.one for themselves and the other with their mens!

  • Comment removed

  • they need skate scooter!!!!!

  • Wah! Now rations got Coca Cola already?

  • those declared casualty must be happy they did not have to walk

  • @neergy1998 u clearly haven been thru this sort of things.

  • @neergy1998 those casualty no need walk ya... but as a casualty, you will feel like shit because you see your team mates suffering and you cant do anything to help them. Once you get addicted to not walking and wanting to be casualty, that is when your mental strength drops...

  • i'm quite interested to see the video about JCC course... were there any?

  • @ysr90 Unlikely to have because it would involve filming in other Countries and im not so sure Brunei would readily accede to such a request. Plus trust me, the Crew member filming wont have much joy tagging along for JCC

  • @OoStellarNightoO lol sorry i FAIL. There is a Wallaby Video. I guess it is possible if we mount a camera to one of the jungle hats worn by the cadet but it just seems pretty unlikely

  • @ysr90 Hi, thanks for your suggestion. We'll be working on one soon. Do look out for it!

  • HAHAHAHHA THE ENCIK IS FUCKIN HILARIOUS!!

  • 07.38 the best part!!

  • fuck, its the worst part of tekong, that dreaded long endless route to SIT-TEST.
