To those who ride with a helmet, it wont stop you breaking your neck or other things, just concussion, but its all about how you feel riding, and how you grew up riding.

TBH he is quite fast, as he has a short stride but the bigger the stride the faster, if he had a bigger stride he would be alot faster he is lovely and well done i could never gallop my TB bareback :S Well done
You are so right! I rescued my horse and his mom too they were going to the slaughter house because the mare couldn't cut anymore and the foal wasnt built for roping! i taught myself how to ride on him, and we barrel race now! He is my best friend ever! She is beautiful by the way!
Definitely amazing! I volunteer and own horses at a equine rescue here in Colorado and most of our horses are rescues. Its so sad that people do that to such wonderful animals. It makes me so mad to see skinny horses that come in with little or no meat on their bones at all:(

I know but my neighbors have a wild female horse she bucks when u try to ride her and she is afraid of people but when me and my mom went up to her she stayed away from my mom and tride to kick her but she came right up to the fence for me and let me grab her halter and pet her nose. Her name is bella and she is an amazing palimino. her owners hate her and im trying to turn her around u know re-brake hershe is lovely though she is the closest thing i have to a horse until i get one.

@xRisingVelocity The R Prince Andrew I found was mostly quarter horse and appaloosa and had mostly tb's on his sire's side and and few on his dam's and the rest were appaloosa's and quarter horses.
@xRisingVelocity read the description? tbs are broken and worked REALLY REALLY hard since they are 1 he was skinny and stuff since 3 ? i own 2 TBs and only just got 1 ofmy mares shes underwait and i think OTT TBs get thron around like garbage and so what if he cant run 50 mph, anyhorse is amazing <3 :)
@VintageStar385 actually quarter horses gave thoroughbreds their great jump start in the beginning of races, and quarter horses are known to slay thoroughbreds in quarter miles races, both breeds rock tho
@HeyImNeco His full out gallop is 45. I have proof of it. Lol. Secretariat was 39 mph. But he ran about 10000x longer and could keep his speed throughout. This is just his full out gallop for about 1/4 mile.
If you wanna know the real secret on how to ride, you've gotta put you heart into your horse. Give him your trust and do not take it back. you give em your heart, he'll give you his. You only have one life to live.. kick back on your busy life, forget your stresses, and just run until your worries are gone.

@ponyshae888 If you wanted a boy, you might have to give up everything :) I say that in humor, but remember, it's an extremely time consuming, FINANCIAL responsibility. Not to be taken lightly. That being said, some people were just meant to be with their horses, like me. I got a job specifically to cover the cost of my horses and rodeos.

Amazing story, but I do have one tip. Do not use the reins as support to keep yourself on. If you must grab hold of the mane, because you are pulling on your horses mouth which is why he is throwing his head. I do not mean this to be mean or rude at all I am just putting it out there because it is very uncomfortable for the horse.

My friends and my mom and riding instructor tell me not to fully trust my horse, but it's so hard not to because he takes care of me. He's never hurt me; whenever I fall, he stops on a dime. You sound like you have anamazing bond with your horse. He's beautiful! <3

@HeyImNeco His full out gallop is 45. I have proof of it. Lol. Secretariat was 39 mph. But he ran about 10000x longer and could keep his speed throughout. This is just his full out gallop for about 1/4 mile.

If you wanna know the real secret on how to ride, you've gotta put you heart into your horse. Give him your trust and do not take it back. you give em your heart, he'll give you his. You only have one life to live.. kick back on your busy life, forget your stresses, and just run until your worries are gone.

@ponyshae888 If you wanted a boy, you might have to give up everything :) I say that in humor, but remember, it's an extremely time consuming, FINANCIAL responsibility. Not to be taken lightly. That being said, some people were just meant to be with their horses, like me. I got a job specifically to cover the cost of my horses and rodeos.

i love this video and your story. it must be turned into a movie.but i must say i can understand u. the horse i ride didn't even know what a kiss was and every time we tried to kiss him he would start kicking and jumping.but know he knows that we are never gonna hit him again(like his last owner did) and we will give him all the love he needs.Anyway,do u have any tips to share with me on how to keep my balance on a full speed gallop?Again,i wish u good luck on everything u and all the best 2 <3

Amazing story, but I do have one tip. Do not use the reins as support to keep yourself on. If you must grab hold of the mane, because you are pulling on your horses mouth which is why he is throwing his head. I do not mean this to be mean or rude at all I am just putting it out there because it is very uncomfortable for the horse.

Great story and footage of a bareback gallop, but I heard barrel racing can be one of the equine events that causes the most damage to a horses body.

My friends and my mom and riding instructor tell me not to fully trust my horse, but it's so hard not to because he takes care of me. He's never hurt me; whenever I fall, he stops on a dime. You sound like you have anamazing bond with your horse. He's beautiful! <3

@missysparkelshine ive fallen off at full speed...hit my head full force...and im perfectly fine. if you choose to wear a helmet, good for you but theres no need to go around preaching to people. its a personal choice.
