I agree. I like the new Nightwish just as much as the old. Tarja was a great part of the band, but she lost the vision of what Nightwish really is, and she was overcome by the image, fame, and money of it all. And unfortunately for her, Tuomas wasn't going to have that in something that He, Julius, Empuu, and Marco worked so hard to create, so they made the unanimous decision to let her go, as of now there are no hard feelings between Tarja and the band.

God I adore this album!!!!! Anette is amazing. Can't wait for Dark Passion Play's successor. I'm praying that it will be twice as powerful, heavy, fast and melodic as ever. AND I hope it beats D.P.P. But hey. It's Nightwish. Each album (excluding Wishmaster) kicks the crap out of the predecessor. :)

yes...not many bands would have the guts to put a 15 minute song as teh first track of a new CD...let alone PLAY it live. :) The didn't open with this when I saw them in Dallas, this was about halfway in....still sounded amazing. :)
