    Actually, back in the day, you couldn't get Beck to stop talking about Daniel Johnston. He played Dan's songs all the time and mentioned him in some of his own songs, like Don't Believe the Joke They Put on You. Give it a listen the next time you check out Don't Get Bent Out of Shape
