  • 0118 999 881 999 119 725... 3

  • ended before the best bit, where he smiles for real.

  • Oprah Winfrey!

  • awww why didnt they include the bit at the end of this scene lol moss goin "AT THE MONTHLY SHAREHOLDERS MEETING" "whe-" "Fridaaaaay" lol

  • lol COMPuters

  • Love the decor in Jen's office most and especially how the chairs are so low and Jen is talking down to them.

  • I would of liked to have that sort of homework when I was at school

  • I used to work at Hewlett Packard.. I can't tell you how many times I've been confronted by clueless managers like her. That's why I laugh hardest watching "Office Space"... LOL and yes Jen IS hot.

  • Fiddling about with com puters. Love it when Jen says that. Classic.

  • roys smile :')

"i would say thats more of a threatening look actually..."

  • :(

I love this clip, but I just wish that it hadn't cut off before Roy was like, "HOW'S THIS?" after Jen found out she had to give a speech. XD

  • moss i s the only reason i watch this show so funny ROFOL

  • Moss "I suppose that is the biggest adventure" lol

  • f*ck off.. it crowds well funny :) u ugly c*nt :)

  • 'when your upstairs fiddling about with com-puters' lol

  • "keep at it thats your homework" lol

im sure ive seen him smile before 8D

  • It's a little difficult to remove a laugh track when it's recorded in front of an audience.

A lot of the time having an audience in helps the cast members step their game up and they get immediate feedback.

  • Yeah I understand that, but I just find the laughing kind of annoying. Still a hilarious show though

  • its a live audience shoot, so why would they use canned laughter?

  • It's not the nature of the laughter that annoys me, it's just that there is laughter.

  • I thought that about Red Dwarf but the newer ones were funny but without the laughing audiance it wasn't the same... -.-'

  • some shows just aren't funny without laugh tracks. and if it works then why spoil it?

  • 'protip': heard of seinfeld?

  • Compare it to Curb Your Enthusiasm, which doesn't have a laughtrack, then watch as the humor withers away from Seinfeld.

  • curb your enthusiasm is a different type of comedy. as with the office (UK version) its all about awkward pauses and lengthy dialogue. put a laugh track on it and it seems stupid. take the laugh track away from seinfeld and it seems stupid. see how this works yet? sitcoms like seinfeld have a line up of gags, laugh tracks work for these. get over it. seinfeld is the greatest sitcom ever and one of the best straight up comedies. its only you that thinks its ruined by the laugh track.

  • No, take the laugh track away from Seinfeld and it's suddenly watchable.

It's Always Sunny is probably a better example.

  • yeah that makes sense, the most critically and publically adored comedy ever is 'unwatchable' in the state in which it lasted almost a decade. all those viewers and critics are wrong and you alone are right.

you could dig around for examples all day and it wouldn't make you right - laugh tracks don't spoil comedies. in the same way any stand up comedian would be almost totally unfunny if the audience's laughter was cut.

  • protip: don't whine. there's nothing more pathetic than someone who has lost an argument that was so important to them they are personally upset and resort to name calling. especially when they can't do it right.

  • oh back to this again? yes that's right, you're the only person who knows what comedy is. funny how everybody else has been getting it wrong all these years finding shows like monty python and seinfeld funny. seriously dude, if you're not going to even try to make a case here just let it rest. it makes you look like a bit of a joke yourself.

  • Critics often pan the most popular films. Just putting it out there. Personally I think that in a IDEAL world people could just enjoy there own comedy.

Also putting out there, there is more to british comedy than john cleese. Mighty Boosh? IT Crowd? Ponderland? Absolute Power? Anyone?

  • Dont forget Peep Show, Red dwarf, Black books and Ideal.

  • black books ftw!

  • Father Ted

  • 90% of the population?

isnt that like stolen from southpark? wow and you call other people retards wich cant produce a thought.

  • please dont tell me your trying to inculde yourself in that 10% of non retarded people. My God, why come on here and hate.. Whats your motive?

  • You are a very sad person.

  • so youve just called channel 4 and the it crowd sad...

    youre the sad person

  • ... said the guy whose name is "OverNineThousandLol", referring to the definite essence of modern humour...

  • I don't think it does like the episode were they didn't have the laughing in only fools, it wasn't the same.

  • what language are you trying to speak?

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLL

You should read your comments through.

  • what he was trying to say:

I don't think the laughtrack has a negative effect, like the episode where they didn't have the laughtrack in Only Fools and Horses was not as good as the others

  • Oh yeah! I'm seeing it now! Thanks for that translation.

  • it not a laughtrack my mate went to see it live

  • Hint:

    THAT'S WHAT A LAUGHTRACK IS!

  • oh i though it ment when you just add an old one when there was no audience

  • I thought he meant canned laughter too. Like on the Flintstones, lol.

However, I can't see how the laugh track has a detrimental effect though,

  • nor me i think it works perfectly with it

  • I love that Moss and Roy's chairs are so low down lmaooo

  • jen is a hottie

  • They left out the best bit after this talking about Jens speech!!

  • lol so fun!

  • sorry if I am horribly wrong, but i'm going to guess you aren't British. we tend to have a different sense of humour (or one at all) over here. :)

  • dude lol I was born in Cambridgeshire! I just dont enjoy the IT Crowd as much as say, Green Wing or Black Books. The humour just always comes across as forced IMO. I didn't mean to cause any offence!

  • I think its the background laughter thats annoying

  • Damn right. I love that when ANYONE posts a negative comment on youtube they get lynched. There is no such thing as personal opinion anymore.

  • do you know its the same director as fathr ted. graham linehan!

  • Same director of the first series of black books too, and he wrote the second series.

  • HERESY

  • BURN HIM!!!!!!

  • Both are attempting to be funny, that's the whole nature of the genre.

Neither of them are funny, because whether they are or not is up to the viewer. I think both are great, American comedy will never get close to what we have [:

  • and that also,is up to the veiwer Lol,dotn contradict yourself and make a point which is better

  • that's your homework! rofl! :L

  • comp-uters?

  • i love this bit!! ONE OF MY FAVORITES!! buy why did you cut off the funniest part, with moss?

  • size of the fucking chairs that Jen gives them to sit on! LOL

  • <3 IT Crowd! Can't believe the new series is over again already :(

  • ha ha hilarious one of the best channel 4 shows ever!!!!

  • HAHAHAHAHA

  • good, but no dean learner. man 2 man was amazing!

  • Many of the characters orginate from the channel 4's 'Garth Marenghi's Darkplace'. And they don't appear to have changed characters.

Katherine Parkison is a pretty fox, would love to have her as my boss.

  • LEGENDARY SHOW, got to watch it if you have any sense whatsoever

  • Now this is a show to watch! Unlike most of the trash the Beeb churns out.

  • I don't know...the beeb can commission some great stuff like Look Around You and Snuffbox...they just don't bother tell us when it's on!

  • That is because they have £100 of the £135 TV licence fee for them. If channel 4 can do this with advertising and a few quid, I wonder what they can make with £2bn of licencing live the Beeb

  • Don't forget Time Trumpet!

  • Gotta love The it crowd.

  • excellent show ;)

  • love this show!!

who culd have given in 1 star!

    oh the disgrace lol :)
