Kashmir is puely Indian state and integral part of India. The innocent Kashmiri muslims were all Hindus some years ago and after long battle and torture they were converted to islam but all their hearts are pure innocent Hindu hearts. Now many might be islamic but are all happier if Pakistan stops poking its nose.

I am an indian muslim living in Jammu and Kashmir. economically we are much better off, and we also have more opportunities. I agree that the military oppresses us but i do not wish to call it the hindu army, cause I know that every where in the south asian continent, whoever has power will abuse. even in balochistan, the army abuses.

The only way to peace is not division and separation but responsible leadership.

And if you forgotten that J&K get fix seats in education in all govt. colleges, food is cheaper in India's Kashmir, more opportunities available in India then Pakistan. @wakeupe Kashmir used to be completely either Hindu or Buddhist land till the 13th century. Infact Kashmir's importance as a buddhist learning centre exceeded that of tibet in those days. Then everybody knows what happened,may be peacefully initially and violently very soon Hindus and Buddhists in Kashmir were converted to islam and kasnhmir became a Muslim majority state. The remaining Hindus and buddhists were given 3 choices ,convert to Islam,Be killed or Get out of kashmir.

Its you who need a nail bite of history, First there were hindu kings who used to supress muslim populations, No big number of conversions on the basis of force had ben made, there were some little number of conversions only on the basis of rights in hindu comunity, hindu cast sytem was mainly responsible for that, and then if it would have been a brutal conversion there would have been no Hindu left at all. and the name of hindustan would have been changed to Muglistan...in more than 800 years.

Muzaffarabad was demolished completely and Pakistani's from all over Pakistan helped with all they had. Freedom and right of self-determination is what Kashimir's need. Some Kashiri's support being with Pakistan some don't. But Indians SHOULD allow them to decide their own future themselves.
