Actually the a-5 with a nice dead on drop forward and the response trigger is a hell of a setup get a 12 inch freak and your good to go. I use mine all the time when I'm not using my nerve.

One of the first times I played I got shot from 2 feet away right in the underside of my wrist from a guy shooting at 380fps.

It turned black and green (not black/blue and no it was not paint) and I got spasms for like an hour. It was the lunchbreak though so after a hot-dog and a soda I was back on the field!

I don't believe it was the very first time I got shot but it was definitely the first one that really hurt.

I was having too much fun to mind it though, lol.

And second of all, it depends on what paint you use. If it is thick shell stuff it can survive well enough.

Thirdly, the speed and force of the bolt in most cases is not effected by the air pressure, so velocity has no effect on whether or not the bolt will chop the paint.
