Sorry but that's too little of an activity to be a poltergeist. One chair and the bag. The broom should have moved and maybe if the drier button or the washing machine button (whatever that was, I can't really tell) would have turned or something from that angle then I would have believed it but ... if it's his house, why does he have to go out for a fag? Why not just smoke inside?
