  • nando was the ultimate survivor. with the death of his mother and sister, he had nothing to lose but to keep pushing forward.

  • Loved it.

  • 127 hours? Try 1,680.

  • Great film!

  • What an amazing film to watch 4 days before taking a 12 hour flight that also flies over Siberia!

  • This was good true story we its back to the game or real housewives or criminal minds lol!

  • I wonder if any of them miss the food?!

  • Nando Parrado is a extraordinary example of human spirit, never surrender, never give up, to die fighting

  • @alfayomega91 As Tim Allen says in the film "Galaxy Quest": "Never give up - NEVER SURRENDER!!!" :D

  • they are real friends T_T very nice Italian song ;-)

  • @erotagitsaC what Italian song?

  • @siobanethier the end song obviously

  • @Dejan24194 not obviously because Ave Maria is in LATIN!

  • @erotagitsaC what is the song called? :D

  • @Dejan24194 Ave Maria

  • @siobanethier oh my bad thanks man, such a beautiful song

  • @Dejan24194 yah... sorry I put it all in caps. that was rude of me... don't feel bad... Prince Charles complimented Josh Groban on his Spanish after hearing him sing his italian songs! :S Josh said he wondered if he was joking!

  • they are real friends T_T

  • It's a shame that some people can't show some more respect. There's nothing wrong with having your own opinion but some people have to show some more respect.

  • Frodo would be proud : )

  • This is a truly powerful story, many people walk through life afraid to truly live, so they don't take too many chances, they live far away from the edge. People like Nando and the others who survived their ordeal simply refused to let themselves die. It's often that we don't realize what we're missing out on because we're so caught up in our own lives that we can't see past the trivial, and it's often only when we're pushed to our limits that we discover who and what we really are.

  • In part 13/13 when Roberto Canessa first fell to the ground at the mountain top out of skepticism. After Nando showed him where West was and said they were going to make it, and when Roberto got up he said "we're gonna die you know" but then Nando Parrado persuaded and inspired him and told him that they CAN do it, and every thing they went through was a miracle because God guided both of them, they did it, they made it. What a movie, what a miracle. I'm planning to purchase this movie later.

  • @MissDANELDA you are probably gonna ileggaly download it

  • Awesome movie ! Will power and motivation really gets you far !

  • im an emotional mess right now and i normally pride myself for being above all that

  • The story really compensates for the very mediocre acting. Brilliant movie.

  • I'd like to know exactly how far they walked.

  • @sparkyinbath 10 days worth of walking. Get the book, it tells you all that plus maps.

  • nando parrado is the greatest hero, who ever lived

  • Learning about this in Spanish class.

  • im soo happy they survived in the end! i got so emotional when the helicopter came

ps thanks for posting the last part

  • im soo happy they survived in the end! i got so emotional when the helicopter came

  • Thank you for putting this movie on YouTube. I'm in tears, strength, courage, and passion. It was very faith driven. Remarkable story of survival.

  • 3:32 dam good teeth for not brushing for 64days.

  • This is why I'm too scared to fly in an airplane. :-/

  • i cried when i first saw the rescue team. it was a joyful cry.

  • i love the credit song♥i get upset tho:'( but its so beautiful♥

  • Im glad they survived

  • i knew that no girls would be able to survive that, only men causse men rule

  • @MrWwerules123 there were very few girls on the plane to begin with, most died from the initial crash itself, really has nothing to do with gender

  • @MrWwerules123 dude, there were like, 3 women on the plane, all of which were injured. it has nothing to do with gender you moron

  • @asskickerone hey guess what both of yall can kiss my ass and i dnt have time to argue with little kids and the whole reson for the comment section on youtube is for leaving your opinion and i left my opinion so fuck on

  • @MrWwerules123 judging by your comment, you sound like the "little kid". i have a right to state my opinion just like you. and my opinion is that you're a moron. p.s. read a dictionary- your spelling sucks.

  • @asskickerone dumb ass i kno how to spell if your dumb ass knew u would know that its the shorter way to spell things so fuck on u r not worth my time you are dismissed!!!!

  • @MrWwerules123 oh ya, "reson" is short for reason, right?. you're probably some 13 year old arrogant little shithead. either that or you're trying to compensate for having a small dick

  • @asskickerone dude im not about to argue only a childish dude responds back and back and who tha fuck judges a persons dick that gay!!

  • And that's why you don't horseplay on an airplane when flying over the Andes. Ok... I guess they learned their lesson.

  • How could anyone not be moved to tears? The bodies lying on the ground look even more eerie than they did earlier.Dont know I'd be able to fly back to the site in a helicopter after all that!

  • fucking speechless...

  • Very inspiring and everyone must learn a lesson from this. RIP -3

  • Thank you so much for posting. This movie makes me appreciate my life so much.

  • John Malkovich was a great narrator.

  • great movie they should speak more about this movie and don't let people forget

  • this is the funesit moive ever they eating ass meat. that gut talkin about pizza like wtf. another guy is LALA land. everything is fucked up real good. They never light a fire like WHY why they did not light a fire that did not make sense for me in this moive. WTF if it wwas i would light a fire . No sex what so ever like comeone proplr where is the LOVE. the birthday was the best ever. the cake was snow. an yaaaah
  • @60fft Learn to type. You sound like and idiot and it isn't funny! Obviously you know nothing of survival or how to conserve your resources. They did light fires, just not many. They had to burn their belongings in order to start fires, which means that they were sacrificing necessary items for survival.

  • @60fft you sound like a real dumbass, i suggest you keep our opinion to yourself next time you want to say something stupid

  • Great movie thks

  • thanx for posting this movie

  • wonderful movie

  • A very inspriring story. I only wish the filmakers hadn't glossed over the heroic contribution of Sergio Catalan, the man who found Parrada and Canessa They were still a few thousand feet up in the mountains and a LONG way from civilzation when he fed them and rode for help. This movie ignores him.

  • @dave4248 I agree! The movie also makes the last half of the trek through the Andes seem easy. Also their "food" rations began to spoil once they hit the warmer temps of the lower altitude and Canessa came down with Dysentery! I don't know how they did it!!!!

  • @dave4248 thank you for sharing and identifying who he is. They never touched on how they found help.

  • They were amazingly strong people that never gave up, and what they had to do was for survival, and they survived!

  • while i was watching this...i cant help it,but i started crying.coz it's really impossible to be alive on that kind of situation...i was imagining myself living with them [i know it sounds weird but im sure im not the only one doing this.] and what if i saw my loveones die in front me like what Nando experienced...probably i loose my senses...or end up being crazy.

  • Guess I was taught a lesson...

  • sensacional

  • SENZA PAROLE...IL FINALE è COMMUOVENTE!

  • the awful singer killed that song and the ending for me...just DREADFUL

  • @VintageSunset I agree soundsl ike someone trying to find a radio station...horrible lol

  • Search "Stranded! The Andes plane crash survivors" for a great documentary where the survivors are interviewed.

  • @ewalker1981

I agree. I watched it on Netflix... it was really, really good.

It's the only movie or book or anything where every living survivor of the crash was involved. For anyone that had never seen either this movie, or the Stranded movie. I would watch Alive first, and then the Stranded movie. It makes the documentary way more interesting when you hear them describe the situation after you've already seen it acted out.

  • I hope everyone can see that they did the unthinkalbe by doing the impossible, these men should be awarded a medal. rest in peace for the 26 people that died, we shall never forget you...

  • Absolutely tragic among a breath taking view. Great tribute to those not willing to die in the wilderness...excellent movie.

  • what a horrendous rendition of ave maria....who is that fruitcake singing it?

  • @MDkid1 That was Aaron Neville. I think his voice is the one the "Great American Heroes" beer commercials were parodying (also, the crappy muzak in the space ship, in the 'Starvin Marvin in Outer Space' episode of South Park. Not quite as bad as Jose Feliciano singing 'Old Turkey Buzzard', but his Ave Maria was truly cringe-worthy.

  • got curious so i watched it.. it was awesome! a story of inspiration, faith, and motivation... XD

  • They made it, God Bless them....

  • Very sad. Very tragic, but very inspirational. One of the most beautiful movies.

  • I love when he says, "I'm proud to be a man, on a day like today...take all in man..." That was an awesome line, cause he had the will to keep going, and much faith in God who created the world, the only one true Living God.

  • "Miracle in the Andes"..believe it or not, it's a spiritual book about the human trait to survive. Nando Parrado who wrote the book could be compared to Stephen King in terms of gruesome writing, but I will not question him because he was there. Faith in your friends and the Lord were the most common storylines in the book. If they didnt pray and believe, they die.

  • What a fabulous ending ! Tremendous music....

  • The faith never were lost

  • oh lord!

  • Jesus will always be with the good human.

  • My bio teacher made us watch this in class because he's actually friends with Nando and he told us all the the details they left out. They're so lucky they're alive. Great movie.

  • the story is amazing,. but the book writen by Nando is better. They shuld do a more ditalied movie.

  • thank you for posting the last part >>>and i hope everyone who saw the movie or knew the story to appreciate his own life and thank god cuz at least and at worst cases ,, they are livin in peace !!!

  • @crazyblue558 true ur right
