I only saw about ten minutes of it on Netflix. The earth-bending fight scene was horrible. I just can't do anything but laugh at that rock floating in the air.

Like I read somewhere in a post on youtube. The Last Airbender had the potential to be as epic as The Lord of the Rings trilogy was, or even greater as they could've borrowed some visual elements and expanded them. Instead we got another load of crap by Shyamalan.

Their ship and a Fire Nation ship passed each other, and Hakoda put on a disguise and lied that they were allowed to go through. After he walked away, the Fire Nation footsoldiers figured out he was lying and whispered to their general. Halfway back to his ship, he whispered to them that he would sink the ship. Toph heard the whole exchange.
And what really got me mad about the movie? UNCLE IROH WAS SKINNYYY >:( lmao. i mean they could have left him his chubby old fat self....and that i really didnt like who played zuko:/ dev patel is a good actor...just not good for zuko....

I remember in the commentary, creators said they put that in specifically when they heard Shamalama was making it. That's really a shame considering they claim to know him.
Actually even the effects were awful to me. The bending never seemed to take effect until three seconds later and not once was I able to suspend my disbelief that it wasn't actually there because it looked astonishingly fake given the budget, and while the dragon and water wall looked okay they really didn't do anything with them. The dragon just stated the obvious and the water wall wasn't actually used which cuts out the whole subplot about fearing the effects of the Avatar-state entirely.
i'm so glad i DIDN'T see this movie! i was a huge fan of the show, i never missed an episode when it came out, i'm so happy my memories weren't tainted by this shit movie

Ahaha this episode was funny, it completely foreshadow the movie "The Last Airbender", and it was exactly what the gang said. Was disappointing but effect was nice .

Their ship and a Fire Nation ship passed each other, and Hakoda put on a disguise and lied that they were allowed to go through. After he walked away, the Fire Nation footsoldiers figured out he was lying and whispered to their general. Halfway back to his ship, he whispered to them that he would sink the ship. Toph heard the whole exchange.

I remember in the commentary, creators said they put that in specifically when they heard Shamalama was making it. That's really a shame considering they claim to know him.

Actually even the effects were awful to me. The bending never seemed to take effect until three seconds later and not once was I able to suspend my disbelief that it wasn't actually there because it looked astonishingly fake given the budget, and while the dragon and water wall looked okay they really didn't do anything with them. The dragon just stated the obvious and the water wall wasn't actually used which cuts out the whole subplot about fearing the effects of the Avatar-state entirely.

Ahaha this episode was funny, it completely foreshadow the movie "The Last Airbender", and it was exactly what the gang said. Was disappointing but effect was nice .
