  • Good thing the 101st managed to take out those guns at Brecourt, or else more men on D-Day would have been killed.

  • war effects us all

  • im Airborne Infantry stationed in ft Bragg 2-508 4th brigade combat team 82nd. iv lost 2 friends to the taliban already so this song an video means alot to me.

  • @Ventus4201 While I can't guarantee everyone here is grateful, I can say that I for one, thank you for your sacrifice and courage to keep the people of the US safe. It means a lot to us.

  • i wish i could go back and fight for us in WWII ... back when u need skill more than computers... back in a time when i could help

  • ...you know, as an american, I have to say:

We did a damn good job helping to win a war on the OTHER SIDE of the world...... otherwise god only knows what would have happened. My grandfather(s) fought in ww2, and so it hits close to home for me. I'm really proud that we did that well. thanks for the amazing upload!

  • War is war....

    There are no winners.

But the americans did a damn good job!

I dont blame the germans though.

They put thier lives on the line for thier country and honor just like all the other soldiers.

Thier cause may not have been noble but they fought and died for thier country

no one could have asked for anything more

    Damn politicians,

they start wars they have aboslutley no intention of finishing

  • look in the end of the day everyone respects their soldiers america they do what they do russia does what it does britian has 11/11 and every other country has other things they do to commemorate their soldiers, so it isn't right for people to start blaming others for being disrespectful. in honest to god opinion the accusers are being disrespectful for challenging each countries ways

  • che schifo la guerra

  • @inconveniant and navyboy: he as idiotic, but he didn't deserve it. there are few people in history who deserved to die, and they did.

  • the guy at 1.28 deserve it that was just idiotic

  • yeah if i got shot in the helmet and lived i would be on the ground not pull off the helmet and rub my head lol yeah he deserved it lol

  • if it was not for America England would have been invaded by the Nazi's and Hitler would have take the whole easter hemisphere so respect the soldiers who fought FOR YOU even if you don't live in America.

  • Just so you know the English colonized your country and made it what it is today and England wouldn't have been invaded as we won the Battle of Britain and maintained air and naval supremecy making invasion impossible.

  • @1RsDaily1 ask the West Europe to respect. USA lost 500.000 peaple in the war (almost just soldier) the world lost 22 million and more than the half was civilan. Every German was Nazi soldier or not? I don't think so.

  • @1RsDaily1 of course

russianns don't ever fought against nazi

    sorry for bad english

  • @1RsDaily1 yeah thats true but without England Germany would have won. GB fought alone for a great priot of time before Russia and US joind... So dont thank just the americans thank everyone who fought for the allied...

  • @1RsDaily1 Minus your atrocious grammar I agree, Also, I am American, But Britain had it at the time, They had basically had control of the air, so there was no way an invasion was going down with enemy air superiority, also we only gave Russians help in materials, nothing more, they turned it around after Stalingrad and were going to win with or without us, we just helped make that less costly for them , Good video,

  • @dinokatsaros well, if you want to get technical, theres two points here: Had we not supplied them materials of war, then early on before the industry really got going they would've been destroyed, and B. The red army had its breaking point: it was far beyond that of america and britain, but it was still present. Had the nazi's not gotten america into the war, then most likely they could've won: Hitlers greatest mistake was fighting a 3 front war

  • @1RsDaily1 Both the Axis and the allies had many faults, and are both incomparable by human ethics. I can't say either were aiming to make the world a better place.

  • @1RsDaily1 don't kid yourself with your ego mate..

Yes, America's role in WW2 was huge and all the men who fought deserve the utmost respect. Don't however think that America saved England at all. They fought of the Germans themselves, and the U.S most likely wouldn't of entered the war if it was not for the Japanese..

  • @1RsDaily1 why say that you should respect all soldiers anyway who have died on the front line what ever the race or nationality...

  • Our Marines fought long and hard and risked everythink that day and if you think about it the Nazi had higher ground and a hell of alot of bunkers and supplies and we still KICKED THERE ASS like they were trained to do. SEMPER FI.

  • Hell yeah!! Agree with you 200% Devil Dog

  • They are not marines idiot, They are rangers, completly different to marines. As i recall Marines were sent to the pacific not europe.

  • O im srry jackass there still americans and they gave every thing to protect us if wasnt 4 them we would probably be speaking German ! so KISS MY AMERICAN ASS ! and as i recall they are part of the SF branch. And our marines kicked ass on the pacific they could of in france to.

  • Und welt ist die Probleme mit Deutsche zu sprechen??

  • Ist es nicht so!

  • @JARHEAD604 Lol Marines are over-glorified soldiers. Marines are pussies. You want to be a real soldier? Be a Ranger, go SF. Be in the Navy Spec ops divisions. Lol Marines make me laugh.

  • @1977F150408 Definitely joking by the way. Im enlisted in the Marine Corps. Its badass. 20100708 is my ship date to MCRDPI.

  • @1977F150408 u fail....marines are the TOP, there first in the front line of combat, pride, courage, MOST disaplined & RESPECTED. there the best & thats why im going to be a marine "HooRahhh!"

  • @myti20 Wow, you fail with grammar. Hmm, is that why Im on my way to be a Marine? 20100614 my ship date MCRDPI. By the way, you always cap Marine. And it's Oohrah not Hoorah. Marine Corps orders come from the president, as do Special Operators orders.

  • @myti20 actually isn't it Spec. Ops then Marines then Army then Airforce and then the rest of the divisions?

  • @MuzzyMuffin Ya marines were sent to pacific as they go hand in hand with the navy basically, vs. army goes more with airforce, but both fronts had loooottssss of everything.

  • Marines had absouloutely NOTHING to do with the war in Europe.... sorry man but check your history books. Marines Do kick all ass though.

  • @JARHEAD604 it wasnt the marines it was the U.S. Rangers and U.S. Infantry

  • @WWIIAirborneWeapons in this case its just the 2nd ranger battalion and the 101st airborne division

  • @Rommel5055Returns ya i know but i was talking to the guy that said the marines attacked the beach sry

  • @WWIIAirborneWeapons he might have had lost his head xD

  • @Rommel5055Returns fighting divisions that fought 101st airborne, 65th armored division (i believe) fighting 1st division, 2nd ranger battalion and countless other U.S and British divisions and TF's

  • I agree . . . . . but they were not Marines, they were Army Rangers. The Unit that assaulted Omaha beach was the 2nd Rangers to be exact, and the Paratroopers that landed the night before were 101st Airborne (506 pir, 501 pir, 502 pir) 82nd Airborne (505 pir, 504 pir) and the 509th Paratrooper Infantry Batallion. Notice, they're all Army Units, not Marines. Don't get me wrong, I love the Marines, but they served in the Pacific theatre, fighting the Japs, not in Europe fighting the Krauts

  • @reeve2222 and also jumped the 6th brit airborne taht night, dont u forget em

  • @Rommel5055Returns Oh, trust me, I didn't forget them, I was just listing the American Units. I reenact the 509th Airborne, we were the only American unit allowed to wear the Red beret, which was awarded to us by the British Red Devils. Trust me, I did not forget the brits

  • god every time i see it its better RIPevery one who fhought on this date 65 years ago to the allies and axis lest we never forget

  • great video 5 *
