  • shhh....

  • 2:44

  • 2:05 FUNNIEST THING EVER

  • They weren't sure WHOSE vomit it was.

You can't really dust for vomit, can you?

  • @PopTodd ,

Not in those days, no. But today it's quite possible.

  • This song actually isnt bad

  • @kewkabe someone else's vomit

  • how did this drummer die?

  • @starofcctv94 choked on vomit

  • @starofcctv94 there was an explosion,an there was nothing left,oh yes, tehre was, only a little globy on his drumseat

  • It's not too late! NOOOOOOOO!

  • god...the face of nigel....XD

  • Id love to hear 'mrs murphy's chowder'

  • 4 people didn't listened to "Mach"

  • It's funny how a change of scenery can be so revealing. I've seen this clip a thousand times (I have the rare Criterion DVD of the movie), usually just the short clip actually used in the movie. Seeing it here on YouTube I just realized something: Their drummer here "Peter James Bond" - he's got the look and vibe of GINER BAKER of CREAM. Huge, red-headed guy, love the beard. IPerfect. What I love most about this clip: Derek's Ric bass, and when he mouths "we love you"!

  • 4 people choked on each others vomit and died.

  • @Hazylynx :)

  • This is so fucking funny here.

  • I'm sure Austin Powers has every one of Spinal Tap's albums.

  • mrs. murphy's chowder... now that was music.

  • The 'sshhhh' is epic

  • LOL for the love of god PLEASE dont watch this vid if youre high, i just did yesterday and im still tripping over this vid! DX

  • 2:46

  • I still think they should of been the originals

  • Awesome. Never seen the full version of the video. I'm so proud to have the same maple rickenbacker bass as Derek.

  • HOLY SHIT ITS THE EARLY YARDBIRDS! Lol

  • @Nesgamer1991 I think there's a fair amount of the influence of The Move, down to the harmony vocals and the classical-music nick in the bridge...

  • 1:00 :D

  • The blonde dancer is pretty hot but when Spinal Tap is on the stage I just can't look at the girls.

  • spinal tap's so awesome that nobody needs to play the sitar solo. it just happens

  • the double neck has a danelectro buzz bridge

  • LOL We love you.

  • Great group or the Greatest group ever?

A shame so many people have never heard of them.

  • brilliant ;)

  • Shit sandwich XD

  • Homer Simpson's on bass!!

  • @Gruxxan Dude. Dan Canstanella is Homer Simpson.

  • @MOVIEMANGLE Oh okay then.. Mr Burns on bass!!

i mean this was done in the 80s like 15 years after this period!

  • Shhhh.....

  • i love these guys, they r nuts!!!!!

  • Apperently George Harrison took a solo on his citar in this. :b

  • the songs quite catchy actually

  • I'm sorry but this is the only British psych band I can take seriously!!

  • What happened to Stumpy Joe?

  • @nergvol The official report was he choked on vomit...but they can't prove whose vomit it was...

  • @blumbino With new DNA evidence, the mystery could be solved! Inspector Clouseau

  • @blumbino You can't dust for vomit...

  • Press 3 over and over again.

    Thank me later.

  • This song is awesome to listen to while high

  • I don't remember this intro in the movie. Was this edited out in the original, or created later???

  • @duckman531 the original movie is over 4 and half hours long. it was edited down to the main film, then again to the theater version

it is my understanding that the original, with all the footage, is very hard to find anywhere

  • @duckman531 also, i'm not saying that it wasn't edited in, i'm just saying, it's a strong possibility it is from the original movie

  • Ahh the psychedelia is better than an acid trip....oh, wait....

  • Oh man lol. My seven year old just said this is Wilco.

  • 1:46 I love you too <3 <3 <3

  • 2 people didn't listen to the flower people.

  • Rofl, David St. Hubbins looks like Justin Hayward from The Moody Blues in this.

  • .....we l o v e you.....shhhh xDDD

  • That's about as heavy as it got in the 60's

  • @McFudge93

You seem to be forgetting about Judas Priest, The Who, Black Sabbath, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin. Etc. All bands that came from the 60s. Unless of course you were commenting with a sense of irony, if so, then shame on your stereotyping!

  • Mrs. Murphy's chowder is still pretty good though.

  • we love you

  • hahaha omg these guys are amazing

  • I love this! It's funny but it's actually good! Can u name the different songs they're giving a nod to?

  • @mindytinkerberg I'd take a guess at Scott McKenzie - San Francisco, anything The Byrds, The Moody Blues and The Beatles later stuff. Anything else?

  • @hughesms Yes Byrds definitely. 1:36-2:00 is so familiar but I can't recall who it is!!

  • @Nattypoopoos oh whoops - ha ha - you're right. I was sure it was early Beethoven.

  • Listen (Shhhhhh)- BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

  • the bassist looks like lemmy and lemmy's bass guitar lol :-D

  • I love Penile Trap!

  • Much better than The Monkeys

  • I don't care what South Park says, Rob Reiner is fucking amazing!

  • D. Small mouthing the "we love you" is the greatest thing ever

  • Shhh...

  • I can't decide which is better... This or Gimme some money... Every1 that grew up in the late 70's and 80's should see and cherish this movie. Pure Gold

  • Geniuses!!!

  • (mouths) We love you.....

  • Thats a crazy dano!

  • i knew they were a real band and all but seriously i thought they made these songs for the movie

  • tom petty and spinal tap?

  • Please welcome .......... spinal carp.

  • One person has died in a bizarre gardening accident.

  • @noahmijo And another choked on someone else's vomit. They aren't sure whose though!

  • @noahmijo hahaha :)

  • @noahmijo Did you mean 4!

  • If there drummer wouldn't have died in a bizarre gardening accident they probably could've been the next Moody Blues....

  • I'm guessing someone already brought this up, but I like the way they have the SOUND of a sitar in the song, but NO SITAR or any way to reproduce that sound.

  • @churlskunk dude it was obviously recorded before they made this music video

  • @0xXNirvanaXx0 Exactly my point, sir! I guess they were making fun of all the lip sync perfomances of the 60's, which was standard practice back then. What a brilliant movie this was!

I blame that shak n wac mix up- and his whore of a wife

  • @099749

Yes, I believe they met at the Hoover University of Vacuum Cleaning Repair in Bristol, England. Which goes a long way to explaining the shak n vac nose powder mix up. Whats up with the comment about his wife, she's an inspiration and an example to generations of gold diggers - Kardashians!!!
