  • Nice variations. No doubt. I still have no regret with my Yukon GHR purchase. It's faster to get into and I don't have to worry about dropping the dumbbell on my butt.

  • well not all bench presses are the same but mine has the normal bench press at the front and it has a piece at the end of it for ur legs where u do quad extensions and it has a piece above it for some excercises and yes u can do hamstrings. this is way easier then trying to hold a dumbell between ur feet i wud try to get something similar it cudnt cost that much

  • Who the hell has a hamstring machine at home?!?! This is a home workout move. And in the gym its a good way to mix it up.

  • Machine has better motion because you get resistant past 90% . You can't really old and squeeze with this method.

  • You're so right, it's a hamstring curl machine movement. Just another gimmick this person using to promote his web site and "services". Besides, most gyms have rules against dropping dumbells -- as this exercise would demand you do when exhausted.

  • Cool exercise. Combines calves and hamstrings work. Adductors are working as well.

    I do something similar with hips more flexed. This allows the hamstrings to work in deeper ranges. Helps with flexibility training as well.

  • i too have strained my hamstring the best thing to do is when you start feeling better get into the weight room and get that leg stronger. so if it doesn't hur to walk you should start isolating the recovered leg because it's not going to be as strong as the unijured leg.

  • I've neglected that part too. although squat works the hamsrting too but I think this exercise is superior as it tragets the hamstring specifically. couple with squat this is equal to more leg power.

  • I did these and dropped the dumbell on my lower back trying to get more contractoin and range of motion. I would stick to leg curl machines to get full contraction necessary to get peak and rounding in hams.
