  • precioso

  • Beautiful and stimulating version .

  • Too fast and too FORTE.....

  • yay for chopin

  • Beautiful, just beautiful :-)

  • I really like it. I'm learning it, but I would like it better slow.

  • amazing

  • good

  • You tend to play it slower because your fingers simply aren't sufficiently nimble.

  • @whatevlkjasdl or because you like it slow

  • @kunstderfugue That's what she said

  • @shenkeey lol

  • Very good but too fast in my opinion :)

  • Its in C sharp minor

  • Doing this price, like this version a lot. Helps me in learning it.

  • is it difficult to learn it ? just so beautiful , that i want to play it :)))))))

  • @coolsamamir Its about a grade seven piece to my knowledge (i don't know how that translates over the world) it is hard but not impossible

  • @coolsamamir It's pretty challenging, but not unreasonably so.

  • Best music ever!

  • in my opinion best version!

  • I think playing it fast can be done right, especially in the parts where it's kinda hectic. If you play everything else slow and steady and make some kind of accelerando, it really does get a very nice feel to it!

  • my friend Marija will play this ^^

    :D

  • It isn't C minor ! This is Cis minor ! :) But music of Chopin is so beutiful, romantic and ... I don't know ... perfect !!

  • wonderful

  • @FloRiNeSs +100) Wonderful... Amazing...

  • @witchcraftlord the wine is red wine ?

  • i have versions by Rachmaninoff , Horowitz and Rubinstein, i like this one the best

  • i think this was in l'auberge espagnole...noice!

  • Mmmmm..... Szidon.....

  • It's in C-sharp minor, not C minor.

  • This piece gives the impression of being much more difficult than it actually is. As a result it's grossly overrated. I remember when I would perform this for people I would get a more enthusiastic reception then when I would play a far more difficult and less popular work by composers like Schubert and Liszt.

  • i absolutely love this piece. i think the tempo is a bit fast. i'd prefer this being played slower.

  • I love this speed. im 16 i had to learn this.

I think this speed is perfect. thinking of people dancing and it fits perfectly

  • um. i think you meant C sharp minor...

  • toooo fast

  • @BassicStorm agreed. no time to enjoy the smoothness of the whole thing

  • I'm learning this one...it's a bit rough but it's really beautiful and totally worth it.

  • its really only 3 pages of material, the rest is recapitulation, keep that in mind

  • @Wrestles4alife That's exactly what my piano teacher says.

  • I am too. But I doubt I would be able to play as fast (and def not as good/beautifully) as Szidon.

  • Wunderschön!

  • have to play this

    rough...

  • @123hotcutie me to i gtta play this shit for my nysma test

  • Omg I have 3 months to get it ready..... I can't imagine this ;/

  • youll do great! ive been working this through for 2 weeks and i got the first page roughly done. so then im going to move on to the second and then airbrush :) hows it coming along?

  • @Zuzia1515 i have 12 hours to prepare T_T

  • it sounds to happy. i adore sad peices

  • im the exact same way :)

  • i guess it's subject to the guy's interpretation, no? perhaps a slower start would be more contrasting and emotional, even if he gives out a bit on the technical side.

  • wow so i'm doing this piece for my piano solo... this is going to be very hard

  • I started it two weeks ago and it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I'm already playing the entire song (although obviously not nearly as awesomely as this master.)

  • :) Good Work

  • i think this song would be prettier if certain parts were played even slower.

  • i agree

  • And others faster

    And others with more feeling.

  • My piano teacher told me that Chopin's style is irregular- at some parts you need to play it quick and some other parts slow. But the overall piece should be played in a slow melody, so listeners can feel the soul of the music piece gradually yet strongly.

  • yes , i am totally agree with your teacher, mine say the as thing. This music is hard, i am studying the fast part.

  • Yes, that's true, it's called rubato xD

  • Comment removed

  • yes, also agree

i'm studying the middle piece but i'ts very hard to play it wel. becaurce of the speed variations

  • i agree with u my teacher told me this too

  • yep..your teacher is correct!!! my teacher said the exact same thing! XD

  • @logichip

    its called rubatto

  • yeah

  • So nice in the scales passage he is interested in make music, and to to don´t make as many pianists a place jut to run. Only a t the end of it he does.

His touch as always very clear.

Despite it is not my favorite veriosn of this Waltz, it is beautiful.

    lokopiano

  • Ahh, lokopiano, I've seen around from time to time. Sharp tongue and critical, but excellent taste for music!

  • Thanks so much.

Thanks to you i listen again this beautiful version. As i told before i snot exactly my favorite , BUT is among them , and Szidon is one pf the pianists who deserve more fame than he actually has. He doesn´t take this waltz as a technical exercise ( like most pianists) but as the music it was conceived.

If you find a recording of the 1st Chopin Scherzo by him...........is just from another world and you´ll find in some places what is coming with early Scriabin style.

  • And I have about 1 month to perfect this....

  • Never fails to give me goose bumps every time!Incredible.

  • a little fast for my liking, i tend to play it a little slower because it sounds better that way.

  • And who are you compared to Szidon?

  • i think every musician is entitled to their own opinion

  • ya (i just wanted to put only "ya" on comment but it says it is too short for a comment so i am writing this)

  • well said :)

  • caw3093 i agree... i'm 14 and i like to play him a bit slower... it's amazing.

  • Comment removed

  • i think this is a good velocity if we compare this song with the sergio fiorentino's song . I think this is a good interpretation

  • @caw3093 I agree with you on the tempo, I think you will find my interpretation a bit more light and slower with elegance. If you want, go on my Chanel and my video will be there, I would love to have your opinion on it.

    Regards, Richard

  • @caw3093 I like that you like it a little different, and I like that I like it a little different, and I also like that this painist likes it the way he plays it. It makes the world of music more exciting and variable when people have personal taste =)

  • @caw3093 I tend to play it faster because it sounds better that way

  • Heaven sound!!!!!!Thank you.

  • I can say one thing: when you wake up to go to school and you re late because you had been playing a piano song in 8 o clock in the morning I think you have got hooked on the song :P amazing.

  • i love to play this on the piano but i can't boo whoo....but yea i'll try to play it it's a very intelligent pieces of music and art!

  • agh! All the backseat critics who spam any good classical music with comments of this and that being shit interpretation.

  • this song is AMAZING =p

  • beautifil Music ! Chopin was a very good producer !

  • talk with the sheet music in the hand. then you'll know if is too fast. It says Piu mosso, wich means faster...and faster than the first tempo is FAST. so, i dont think it is TOO fast. Its ok

  • the song seems like it could melt. I love this song.

  • lol rocker its a ritardando not a retardo XD

  • Actually, both way works, but retardo is just funnier :P

  • ROFL RETARDO

  • I agree. It's a little too fast. Maybe a ritardando on the crescendos would help this piece. But it's overall very nice.
