  • The perp walk from Strauss Kahn was organized. That is not normal. 75 years in jail for a hoteljoke. FINE is something like that not. But. 75 years. The thing is organized for a reason.

It is a set-up. More worse than rape is to accuse somebody. It is the same.

  • May it will be done with aborting things. I videotape my screen. They say in RED it is not approriate. If I say something that may matter. Even the song is gone.

  • When allen untreu werden. About INTELLIGENCE we have moore than you here. USA are baby's. With NO thustful papers. People. It is just about not having maners. In China they have things. Get angry with them, maybe the bombs fly over Europe.

  • I have been the whole summer sick about the oncoming death of Moammar Gadhafi. As a Belgian I cannot do NOTHING ABOUT crazy Americans. When Camp Eisenhower became Camp DAVID it went wrong.

we had a bad war in Algeria 50 years ago whenever this war was right or not , we should have the same respect for people who died and suffered there than this song has for Veterans i don't know another song like this, music and heart

  • I did not get to serve but i am a volunteer firefighter so thanks you all for your lives you gave so we all can be free

  • I have seen this kinda of thing for myself it goes to show we need to take care of our veterans if you go and fight for this country we should be able to take care of you and not an Ilegal alien who has done nothing for this country we need to get our priorities straight take care of our own first i do not have a problem helpng others as long as the people who serve our country do not have to suffer because of a lack of funding thank you

  • I cant listen to this song without crying. This was me in 1985,a homeless vietnam vet living in the Streets of Detroit.Ony by the Grace of God did I survive.I'm close to 70 now, lived a lot longer than I ever thought I would.I'm appreciative for 4 walls a roof over my head, runnin water, and all the stuff we tend to take for granted.I dont live in Vietnam in my head anymore,I just remember what it was like when I start feelin sorry for myself. That usually gets me out of it.

  • very beautiful and so true

  • maybe some of them dam gov't people should listen to this song and maybe they might listen to some of us vets bout how we are realy getting treated. i fought for this wounderful country and what thanks do it get???? no help in paying bills that i cant pay cause thanks to those ungrateful rag heads that we spent so much time and money helping blew my legs off and one of my arms but you know i would gladly go back over there and serve this wounderful land i call home!!!! GOD BLESS THE USA!!!!!!

  • @fuckyouyoufuck187 ...many may not understand your situation, but a lot of us do...and we appreciate your service & sacrifice...it wasnt all in vain. May your strength & courage help guide you through the hard times to see change happen....things always get worse before they get better.

  • this is type of song that makes me ashamed to be an american because america treats veterans like dirt instead of heros they are.

  • @cooleo3344 i agree

  • i cant thank our troops enough for their services in our U.S MILITARY no one knows what yall go through and i just wanna say thank yall very much for what yall do!

you guys deserve a heck of alot more respect than what yall got now i take off my hat to yall.

  • No one will ever understandd what we go through.....

    thank you george jones

  • The next time you see a Vietnam Vet....thank them for their service....you'll never see more gratitude from a human being when they hear those words...God Bless all of our service men!

  • Thank all of you and God be with you all.

  • As a disabled veteran and homeless as well ... destroyed mind and heart .. subdued and numb to reality of life.. experience shall never be seen.. life destroyed by life ... the only comfort in life is peace and quiet in my mothers home... yet as a grown man i must move to my own... yet afraid of losing my mind ... a single man at 41 no children to call me dad ... no wife to call hun ...all from my military life... even though im single .. even after all this i would never change a thing ...

  • USMC Sgt AnHoa Vietnam Jan67 - Feb 68 and still think about that dam place almost all the time. I served with E 2/5 a line company.

  • this song gets to me ever time. theys so many vets out there that dont get the recognition they deserve for keepin us free. thanks to all of you past and present still defending our nation

  • where can you find good ones and bad ones by george jones does anyone know?

  • Song really hits home. Two of my uncles were in Vietnam. One ended up receiving a purple heart. The war was actually one of the reasons he commited suicide just a few years ago. I guess he just couldn't handle what he had seen/done. Makes me kinda wish he woulda tried talking to somebody about it, instead of just ending it. I guess what I'm trying to say is, if you know somebody who was there and is still troubled by what they did, talk to them. Who knows, maybe you'll save a life.

  • @KamakazeeFatty some advice for you and hopefully understanding as well.. as a veteran i do not wanna talk about what went on for it brings back the memories and pain .... my one true wish was to never fall this way and i couldnt stop it .... so here i am trying to help you out in understanding ...

  • I think I've got some dust in my eyes.

  • @kilikiss me too...what a dusty place this is..

  • Simply, one of the Greatest country vocalists

  • i believe being in this war killed my dad. it changed him for the worse and i never got to see the person he was before he went there. that war made me miss out on having a real father. So why do people think war is a good thing? idiots.

  • @the3ggroll1 ... war is never a good thing there are no winners only losers .... for even if the United States Wins we all lose by losing some of our Women and Men to it so there never is a winner... as a man and what i have seen all i can say is i feel for you ... yet as the Veteran i feel for your father for i know what goes deep in thought...Please take this advice and spend as much time as you can with him ...I never took the time to have children so it is what tears me completely up in life

  • Love George Jones, one of a kind voice !!

  • my brother joined . a day later he was drafted. I never joined but my relatives got notices every othe ryear i was drafted and OWL and already in the military. after calling the draft board i would never hear any more from it. If drafted i would have went but after reading about the reasons for the vietnamese war i wopuld never have went there. Vietname was a french slave colony and we went in to protect france's interest. nothing else, they turned on us began suppling war material to

    them.

  • It hurts to leave friends behind but it feels good yo come home.

  • I WONDER HOW MANY WARS WE WOULD HAVE IF THE POLITICIANS HAD TO GO AND FIGHT THEM??

  • @JWHITE3614 We dont make war we defend against it--c'mon man if it werent for the US military youd be listening to this in german or japanese right now THAT is if you werent executed in a concentration camp OR your parents in which case you WOULDNT be here to make that offensive statement anyway- have a lil respect for what HAS to be done sometimes to protect the entire world coz no one else is gonna do it-Enjoy the tune

  • if anyone could bring awareness to these warm hearted veterans that are down on their luck,it would be ol' jones

  • god bless all our troops old present an future may we never make the same mistake

  • This songis a hard hitting true life story. US Air Force Vietnam Veteran. I saw a lot of body bags filled by the Criminal Marxists and Communists. Just like the ones in San Fransicko, who spat on us and called us BABY KILLERS when we returned from the Nam. Never saw any such crap in Nam and most GI's protected and gave food, water and clothing to Vietnamese kids.Yep- - the Mi-lai Massacre was an aberation/exception and not the norm. Great song by the Greatest Counrty Artist EVER. xRatti.

  • such a sad song .very moving. and Geoge is the one that can do it justice . five stars to george once again.

  • We grew up very poor.Had uncles serve in Vietnam.Live in the boondocks on the Indian reservation.Hardly any services for VA's.Sadly they pass on in a sad way.Alot of drinking in the border towns.I remember them young and inocent before they left.1 died of hypothermia and the other got run over by a train.A year after their return. The rich will f#$k the poor and always will,at the cost of our front line soldiers.RIP,... for all those who serve.

  • These tragic stories presented so beautifully here are mostly authored by the team made up of the only killer in the US Senate, Ted Kennedy, and Walter Cronkite types in MSM, That heartless cabal betrayed, libeled and slandered our soldiers forcing our government to de-fund the Vietnam war, giving victory to communists who mass-murdered over one million people whose mass-graves remain hidden in the jungle. The hate generated by the left deeply hurt our soldiers, creating this painful story.

  • white69rabbit = you didn't lose your way mate - you were deserted like a lot of our boys - may you cruise forever - warmest Graham Melb Aus

  • George

    What A Talent

    JR

  • to all of us who fought and lost our way.

  • Nobody tells it like the possom . Speaking for so many who cant or wont tell their story. [Thank you George.]

  • 3 people are Vietnamese

  • =), listening to him. For some reason, reminds me of my uncle Walter (R.I.P)

I love all of George's songs.

  • Why wasn't this song a hit? It's one of George's best, lesser known songs. Thanks for posting this.

  • i know most people who spit in our faces when we came back from viet nam didnt really understand what we went through and for what. thats why i found it in myself to forgive them in later years. may God bless all vets.

  • My English has much to learn. I don't care for American artist but this George Jones pulls hard on strings that have emotion. I listen at him often. Viktor

  • I saw George in person at Reno, NV and Stockton, CA. I'm a korean War and Vietnam War vet. George said that Country DJs would not play this song and that' is why it never got the recognition it should have at the time. During Ronald Reagan's administration vietnam veterans were kicked out of the hospitals as George depicts in his song. George tried to do his part with this song and I weep every time I listen to him sing it.

  • it happens all the time, i just got out of the marines, did 4 tours, 2 to iraq and 2 to afgan....i cant even get a job, the VA isnt sening me any of my disability, ( i was shot in the hand and cant use my right hand anymore)... we go to the back of the line after they get what they need from us while we are enlisted. please support our veterans, you would be surprised how many people dont these days.

    Simper Fi

    Marine

  • But I just don't for the life of me, understand why this is so true. I mean how can the US, gov't, and american people have that attitude towards veterans? I mean these people fought and gave their life, for our precious freedom each and every one of has today.

  • "Fightin' for the country and our freedom..." Yea, sure.

Pray. To whom? There is no God.

George Jones is great, what ever he sings.

  • @CountryCarlson im sorry that you feel that way, praying to god is what got me through 4 deployments over seas.

  • @USMCrecon1209 Thanks for your sacrifice. You are an honor to this country. You do what only "few" can do.

  • @USMCrecon1209 Amen to that man. I know exactly where you are coming from.

  • "Fightin' for the country and our freedom..." Yea, sure.

  • @CountryCarlson I wasn't fighting for my country....I was fighting for my life. 69-72

  • the best there is, the best there was, the best there ever will be,,,,,,, george jones

  • War is so sad!! Why can't people just learn to get along. God bless all those protecting our freedom and the safety of other countries. We pray for you!!

  • As pointed out at the end of this song, why did so many veterans get the raw end of the shaft? Why did so many commit suscide? Did the US gov't not give a damn, about the vietnam veterans?

  • @JamesReadythe5th

Yes, and by us Americans, as well. They were demonized and spit on as baby killers by their fellow citizens. They were not treated as heroes as past vets had and that was and is such a disservice to all who serve our country, no matter the war, imho.

  • I grew up during the Vietnam war. It was already in progress when I was born and ended when I was in high school. I was too young to understand at the time, but it was a fearful time in many ways. I was self-absorbed, got in to drugs and stuff, but looking back, my heart weeps for those who believed they were doing something noble only to return home to another type of hell. God Bless those who served and still serve. Pray your sacrifices were not in vain. God knows, understands, and cares.

  • reminds me of whiskey lullaby...

  • Mrs jones just the best

  • Mrs jones ust the best

  • all our hearts to the ones fighting for our country go on lads

  • ALL I USED TO DRINK WAS WILD IRISH ROSE ALL DAY EVERY DAY.

  • Sad but true no other comment needed, thks George

  • Love this song <3

  • War is so crazy. People come from Canada to plant their flag at graveyards here in Antwerp. But. The one war is not the other. If Canada would ever get involved in a war again, than there must be something really wrong. The US do not care about some things. Maybe they are cowboys?

  • 101st.

  • heart breaking god bless all who serve to keep us safe

  • this is my life all in a song 1968 vn

  • this is my life all in a song

  • I will fight you all afor I go to war for any half baked ideal from any half baked leader profit or government. I will fight you all. Look at my family crest on Google under Bradshaw family crest. God bless all and wake up people.....V

  • woo i love wild irish rose!

  • George Jones is a living legend

  • destroyed their minds...bodies...& spirits. If you've never walked in their shoes...dont judge..try to understand. The effects and aftermath are real. PTSD is real. Health problems...your next meal...the pain...try to remember what a hot shower feels like..ur mind flooded with images from the war you survived but comrades did not..like a horror movie playing in ur mind 24/7. They numb the pain. You would too. THANK YOU&God Bless to the Vets..the fallen heroes..the families...& the people who care

  • @MamiRox thank you for shareing. makes you think

  • @rezrick9 THANK u...i just got the email notifying me of peoples responses....i had no idea my post reached/ touched so many....which is great...hope the message continues to travel. Blessings to you all ;-)

  • This song offers a heartwrenching but necessary message. Being a vet myself & being involved with vets i can say the rate among homeless is more 70%. I've never judged any person on the street, only try to help. If ur a person who thinks all homeless people are just drunks, junkies, or people who never had ambition...think again. Some of them are simply freeloaders. But everyone is in a situation for a reason. Many of those reasons is because these men fought for our country and the effects...

  • @MamiRox lovely words mate, you hit the nail on the head

  • 25% of the Homeless People are VETERANS reason they give Soldiers High Dose of the Chemical (Sodium) EATS up MEAT & NAILS in Soft Drinks, Weaker dose is Sodium Fluoride in Water

Thanks George Jones for still playing country music.

  • reminds me of my grandpa

  • this should have been shown on tv to show how we did not take care of vets especially the vietnam vets, they were young boys who back then did not know what to expect from other parts of the world like we do today

  • I served from 61-65, Air Force and never got to Nam..., I was spared the torture these boys to men went through. For some reason, this Music Video touched me hard... I guess it was the Death of the man, then seeing his Service picture that hurt most of all... Leave it to George Jones to say it like it is..... A Prayer and Amen to all our Service Men and Women everywhere.... Blessed be those that care enough to protect us all... , and straight to Hell with Government.......
