  • I iss the 90s : (

  • 0:23 Scooters! I wonder how many mirrors you could fit on one of those...

  • top song ....oasis and beatles if you like them bands u wont go wrong :)

  • I am the walrus

  • Just watched simon fowler and co at Premier Cru in Torquay, awesome times :)

  • Oh Oh La La La...Don't you want days like these

  • This song has always seemed to have a 'I am the walrus' Beatles feel to it. Perhaps it is just the guitar sound. The singer also sounds a little like the 'rocking Paul McCartney' at times in his voice. All this is a good thing for me. A great song.

  • i remember when i was 7 rocking out to this on mums 'now thats what i call music' casette tape!

  • ocean colour scene was the nuts back in the day and ya know wat they sound as good listeneing to them now as they did back then

  • love love love!! :)

  • WOAAH NA NA NAA !

  • I saw these in early 2000's - they were on a bill with Snow Patrol, Sterephonics and several other bands. I think it may have been a Christmas or New Year concert at Cardiff Millenium Stadium. What an afternoon that was! I love the UK for it's musical genius

  • Roll a number, write another song bout jimmy the day he caught the train, sips another rum and coke, told a dirty joke, walking on a crab joe suckn on a number ten..hahaa true man, fuckn true.

  • i got to agree with the yank about oasis, though limp biz werent exactly original ha ha,and the U.S rock scene is awful now,we ruled rock when it mattered ,the who ,zep deep purple sabbath ,though the best rocker of the last 10 years has to be jack white, grunge was cool though, but he is right i doubt rage against the machine would be quaking in their boots having to follow oasis on stage and liam is the biggest c,,t in rock history now thats some achievement ,when fred durst is in the running

  • Who let the seppo in?

  • @JezzaforPM Did I say modern American music was any good either

  • So beatlish at some points...Like it

  • Check out the new Diesel Park West album .See site .

  • Great, great album!

  • this summer at hop farm last song off my head . simply brilliant

  • takes me back 2 ma combat trousers n ma adidascampus gutties lol xx

  • First time I heard this song was back in 1995. Trippin shit, hot brit girls on each arm, good beer, good times, awesome scene. 95-98 the best damn place on Earth for music, culture and damn good times was the UK.

  • On a par with Definately Maybe, probably not as good as Whats The Story? But definately blows the other Oasis albums away, just came at a time when Brit pop was very, very stong

  • @colinrobson1978

definitely maybe is a much better album than what's the story morning glory?

  • @MrV6sport You are 100 percent correct, also great band very underrated too.

  • Great song, shame it looks like a Toploader video now. Chris Evan's intro song on TFI Firiday if I remember correctly as well.

  • @upahill23 riverboat song was the intro.

  • It doesnt sound like I am the walrus!! Listen to both songs again back to back. I just did and they dont sound too much alike.

  • Either in 96 or 97 saw these guys at Bridlington Spa, AWESOME trying to invent a time machine...any ideas!!!

  • 52 people didn't catch the train and were probably at the wrong platform at the wrong station.

  • Big up Brum

  • The best song ever!

  • this is when music was good :(

  • brilliant !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • never forget this band nuff said

  • this is a special band for past 15 years.

  • Definitely OCS's best track........ Can't believe it's been 15 years

  • doesnt matter if their famous or if there hitting the charts... sometimes good music is hidden

  • @davesmithmufc before a song is well known - "how the fuck can something this awesome only have 8 views when Lady Gaga and Bieber have billions?"

after a song is well known - "fuck you all, I liked it before it was popular!"

  • This is going to be played at my friends funeral on 23/09/11, Ocs were his all time favorite band & this song in particular will always remind me of him. R.I.P. Teron <3

  • this band lay it down flat to who most british bands aspire to... one in 20 billion.. better day is payed to respect to my lost best friend as it shows!!! wat a way music makes u feel emotion......

  • Long Live! Rock On!

  • chilled n ready for my next holidays xxx

  • God bless the nineties:)

  • Looks so much like LG at the start haha

  • Any1 else think this sounds like 'bad romance' by lady gaga for 1 second in the song?

  • @Rivertam23456 no but maybe lady gagas bad romance sounds like this, just for a second.

  • The Song of the Summer-the year it was released and every year since!

  • 50 people have never lived the nineties.....ans will never know what it feels like to live the nineties!!

  • Ah, such a great era of music!

  • if your here,, u no as well as me this is a TOP TOP TUNE :)

  • the most underestimated band off the 90's and they are great live!!!!! Fact

  • Wow....

  • Ocean Colour Scene. Not Oasis or The Beatles. OCEAN COLOUR SCENE

  • V FESTIVAL Cant Wait!!!

  • A wannabe Oasis... irony upon irony.

  • @KingCrimson776

    But....Ocean Colour Scene was first.....

  • @LordHaveMercy2 This song wasn't

  • @KingCrimson776 fuck off, Ocean Colour Scene came first, and I doubt they ever wanted to be those 3 chord little wankers. Moseley Shoals was and still is one of the greatest creations in rock history, it's just massively underrated as these guys didn't go round shouting their mouths off saying they were the next Beetles and thus didn't get the attention. Wannabe Oasis my fucking hairy ring-piece.

  • @standardindexjoe '3 chord little wankers'? Im pretty sure the only oasis song youve heard is wonderwall

  • @MrPollyphonic and that has 5 chords ;)

  • @MrPollyphonic actually i'm a fan of Oasis. Great anthems, but lacking the amazing skill and talent of OCS. I can play Moseley Shoals solo on acoustic guitar, piano or in a band and the songs are so well written that they work fantastically any way round. The chord changes are actually inspired. As a musician I have to say that Oasis songs are like child's play compared!

  • @standardindexjoe well said mate

  • @standardindexjoe al toe you right in the swingers gimpboy

  • @standardindexjoe better than oashits any day of the week fella.and im from manchester

  • @standardindexjoe Oasis an Ocs were good friends so stop comparing the two as if they are enemys.

  • @standardindexjoe oooooooh calm down yal have a heart attack

  • @KingCrimson776 nah mate clearly you fu*ked up on that statement

  • @oo7england Oasis sucks but still, these guys wish they could have written "Live Forever".

  • @KingCrimson776 What's the point in comparing them, I saw them last night in Brixton Academy in London, they were quality. Your arguements sound like those of an ill informed teenager in North America, go and listen to Bieber if you don't appreciate good music

  • @oo7england well said

  • @oo7england lord help me... what is it about modern British people and being totally ass-backwards. This shit literally isn't even any better than Bieber in a formal melodic sense

  • @KingCrimson776 just fu*k off you're boring me now, clearly most people here think you're a nob too. Your points make no sense, go back to sticking your head up your arse

  • @oo7england Of course they do, they're a bunch of sadsack Britons who carry the delusion that England's culture survived beyond the early 80's. You guys were desperate enough in the 90's to hail Oasis as the saviors of rock. Fucking give it up.

  • @KingCrimson776 OK, i'll let you have the last word fu ck face, evidently an ignorant fool, your music's shite it keeps me up all night

  • great song!!! viva the 90's!

  • just getting ready to see them at clapham common today! come on boys bring back the magic of the 90's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • summers growin up, underage drinkin in the wild orchid pub, fuckin up me A-levels...good times.....gimme one day of them again

  • This is my summers growing up.... it's the anthem to alot of good times.... all hail, effing great

  • I thnk for the sake of that summer of 96 after seeing this vid again.. im gna have to pick up another white sun hat!

  • Totally awesome at T in the park!!!

  • can't wait till they're at the bend jerrys gig in manchester 24th july

  • INCREDIBLE at oxegen and so nice at the signing! Love you guys xxxx

  • they were amazing at oxegen... brilliant gig and brilliant atmosphere :)

  • beginning sounds like beatles, hooks sounds like someone else from the 70's... meaningless lyrics

  • @octagramt Tell that to the 2062... stop being such a music snob and grow up

  • seen them live last year at the wickerman festival, i must admit they were awesome. i remember listening to them as i was growing up

  • love this tune.

  • i was at the front of the big tent at hop farm to see this band. i can say for me it was one of the stand out bands of the hole festival. so good. an they played live forever by oasis. i like to think me wearing my oasis t shirt an singing my head off to every song had some influence ha

  • @TheJoe20010 HOP FARM

  • this song is literally SHIT!!!

  • I love this song, any song is good when you can sing a long 0:50 to 1:01

  • Ocean Colour Scene; Making Brummies proud since 1989.

  • genuinely thought this song was by the beatles until last year i am an extremely embarassed man at the minute

  • @mrblack215 Then don't go onto the video and tell everyone that you're embarrassed. You could save yourself the embarrassment by just keeping it to yourself, that way, no one will have to know :)

  • the most underrated band ever!!!!!!!!

  • what yr was this top

    tune out

  • @tch1966 96 I think

  • bring back the 90s

  • Merthyr Rocks 2011!

  • What is the melody for the chorus? Was it some song called Forever on a Sunday?

  • A great tune from a great band.

I never miss one of their shows when they come to Ireland.

  • The song that propelled a great band...

  • roll a number

  • This album came out two years after i was born, and i love it. Im sick of beiber and stupid boy bands. This is real music.

  • abso-fucking-lutely nowt like "I am the Walrus"

  • I Am The Walrus much?

  • @PianoPlayingDave69 only you can quantify how often you are the walrus

  • best band in the world ever. the recent collections 21 and the moseley shoals re-releases are awesome too :D

  • @TobyEllisSongwriter rite on mate

  • we need songs like these, thank you ocean colour scene, when things are getting wild, i need days like these, i now i make sure i get them

  • im not the walrus?

  • Great. Went to see Steve playing with Beady Eye recently. Not as good as OCS but same idea

  • If the Beatles had still been making music in the 90s it might've sounded something like this...

  • @roboyle technically they made Real Love and Free as a Bird in the 90's :)

  • /watch?v=SsToUwkWzmU self written song.. have a listen and give feedback if possible, thanks :)

  • great tune to waken up too

  • TUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNE!

  • Saw them at Brixton Academy in South London around 2001. Loved it!

  • fucking TUNE

  • fuckin sick

  • Up there with blur and oasis when it comes to britpop

  • HAVE A LISTEN TO US, IF WE GET ENOUGH VIEWS WE WILL BE ON RADIO 1!

  • I Wish I Grew Up In the 90's Where There Was Actually Good Music

  • @greybubbles101 im sorry4ur loss

  • beatles and blur! defiantely

  • The day we caught the walrus.

  • @eXPerienceyeah I laughed.

  • I am in total disbelief to as why 45 people dislike this. I think 45 people need to find the volume button.

  • GUERNSEY LIVE 2011

  • when it 1st kicks in, it sounds like a total rip off of 'I am the Walrus' ?

  • @adamhopeless why not, i am a walrus is a wicked track, so why not use the sample:)

  • @mcmorrowful. YES. I think it SOUNDS LIKE a rip off of the percussion of "I Am The Walrus." But I don't think it's deliberate. All respect to OCS for bringing back the classic rock sound!

  • wow was it really 1996?, seems like yesterday, will always be fantastic though!!!

  • live in guernsey early july camping available

  • It does sound a lot like The Beatles. Had they come out on the 60's they would have been great.

  • @Danyhg92 they were great in da 90's anyway,

  • Same chords luv!!!

  • same chords luv!!!!! Shit hot tune tho, oh yes.

  • Je veux vivre en 1996 !!!

  • Sounds like i am the walrus too much at the beginning.

  • Киев с вами)))))

  • does this remind anyone else of the beatles & i am the walrus?

  • @rwillemars They remind me of THE MONKEYS

  • They remind me of THE MONKEYS

  • Watch these last month at Southampton. Fucking top night and I can't wait to see them again at some point. They still manage to sound the same now as they do in this video but get very little credit for their talent whereas new bands struggle to perform live because they are autotuned beyond belief and have little natural talent

  • anyone know the setting of the video? tnks!!!

  • Any1 else think this soumds like I am the walrus by the beatles just the start!

  • @mcmorrowful Just a fucking bit mate

  • @mcmorrowful it does indeedy. Bands take influences from their idols, i dont understand why people slate any band for doing so. Actually usually the people that have slated bands are the ones have never written a song themselves. Im not having a go at you btw so dont worry haha.

  • I am a die hard OCS fan. No better live band in the park!!!! Come onnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!

  • ooh just at the start...

  • @mcmorrowful It's because it is the same chords. Ocean Colour Scene had to ask Sir Paul McCartney for the permission to use that riff at the start.

  • this song makes me so nostalgic!!! my dad used to play it all the time when i was a kid :,)

  • @incandescentsmile

makes me feel old....I used toplay this when I was a kid. Good Times.

  • what a fucking tune :D classic 90s

  • V FESTTTT BITCHESSSS

  • This is when mainstream had great music, now i just think WTF has happened?

  • YES, we do ! wewill have a empire again , through our Music!!

  • fuckin class
