  • please can some1 tell me where can i get the english translation of this. Nasheed: Names of the Prophet (Saws)

  • The use of the word 'ya' as 'iamawais' said it should be avoided. But we can listen to the nasheed as it depends on our intention. And let me just say that the prophet is closer to us than our souls in terms of our love for him and reviving his sunnah. However, although being so special he is still insan(human). A person even being alive cannot be everywhere and be all hearing so how can a person who has passed away? These are qualities of Allah alone.

  • Are we allowed to say Ya Muhammad?

  • we should avoid it.............

  • @2lax7 according to prophetic narrations as it seems that angels convey the salams to the Nabi(s.a.w). Another thing to note is that prophets are alive in the graves. The nabi(s.a.w) saw musa A.S praying in his grave when he passed over it then in jannah he also saw Mosa A.S again. I think the thing we need to keep in mind is that the Nabi salalahu alayhi salam does not have the attribute of as-sami al-basir (Hearing and seeing) like that of Allah...

  • Plz dont say ya to peole who r not anymore alive its a sin, belive me ,ya is onle use for alive...like Ya Allah.plz

  • @SuperMusalman, what abt this hadith.... Narrated Ibn 'Umar:

"The Messenger of Allah spoke to the People (buried) in the Well saying: "Have you found out that what your Lord had promised you is true?" then someone exclaimed: "Are you calling out to the dead!" The Prophet replied: "You do not hear better than they do, except they do not respond."[Sahih Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 23, Number 452]

Brother Upperside. Loved your comment but must comment on your views. All I have to say is that "An Nabi ul awla bil mumineen min anfusihim" it means the Prophet is closer to you than your own selves. NB. The word anfusihim comes from nafs meaning soul. Subhanallah! The prophet is closer to us than our souls and if our souls left us we are dead and you can't get closer than that. Thus The prophet is able to be a witness as Quran says clearly because he sees and hears us.

  • MashaAllah

  • MashaAllah.

  • beautiful MASHALLAH

  • I've been looking for this for ages! May Allah reward you, this is awesome. Note: When we recite the names of our beloved Nabi we know he is not everywhere and can't directly hear us but we recite out of love so that our message of love is passed on to him. Such beautiful names for the most beautiful creation of Allah.
