When she realises they both share the same passion for flying, and the way he makes her laugh during their flights together, I'd say thats when she really fell for him. Jake, on the other hand, always respected Neytiri as both a teacher and a woman.

I thought the love story was well developed. Admittedly, I'm not a fan of love stories but I liked this one. Even from the get go, Neytiri has a deep respect for Jake due to his bravery and strong heart though she still resented him at the time since he was a dreamwalker. I felt she started to generally like Jake and see him in a different light after he makes that clean and honourable kill, thus proving himself ready for the final test.

Was a good movie, but it is a prettier version of Dances with Wolves. And if they continue this story based upon the Native Americans, this movie was sort of like the Battle of Little Bighorn. If it continues, the humans(Americans) will come back and virtually annihilate the Naa'vi. Then years later they will give the survivors gambling right and the Naa'vi will make humans go broke.

now i know the film doesn't have the strongest story but it still makes you think. I still can't get over the visuals. It makes me think"wow so there really are 10 ft tall people with blue skin and pointed ears" lol. as a guy I will admit that i kinda choked a bit when the na'vi home was destroyed. That part of the movie completely took me by suprise. I also think that if they had been less human, like with more cat-like eyes, you wouldn't care as much about them or their feelings.

I was more then peeved when the Hurt Locker won all those Oscars. When Neytiri saves Jake's human body almost brought on the tears. I was so close to tears that my bottom lip was trembling through the whole scene and when Jake becomes a full Na'vi almost brought on the tears. I just love the story line and romance between Jake and Neytiri. Can't what to see what happens next in Avatar 2. Yeah! *Punches the air*

Neytiri started falling for Jake a when she assisted him with the Bow. He read her right there & then and played it real cool.

Only thing l keep coming back to in my Humble Opinion is: Jake wanted to make it a "One Night Stand" with Neytiri- probably because he was told that she was to end up with Tsu-tey- only thing is when she said " Mated for life" that was a wake up call because he later said " What the hell are you doing Jake!"

At least he took responsibilty.

I'm still angry, that Avatar didn't win the oscar for best picture. I watched it for the third time today. It's still the best movie for me in 2009. Here in Germany, nobody cares of The Hurt Locker. It's just a massive flop.

The last scene in Avatar, where Neytiri saves Jake still brings tears to my eyes. It's just a wonderful, just a magical moment! That 30 seconds alone are better than the whole Hurt Locker movie...

i think what was so powerful to me about this couple, and what made it so effective on screen, was that they were still showing the human jake. i don't know how to explain it, but it made an impact on me. especially that scene where it's the human jake and neytiri together. you can still see the love in his eyes and in his touch to her face.

I think you've got a lot of female Jake fans repeatedly watching your vid, (like me!) because we all fancy Jake as the Na'vi. He's v. cute as the human too, but given the choice, I prefer him big and blue with those sharp teeth. Gorgeous. In the dvd, they show them making love with their tendrils connected, but it was considered to erotic for the 12A cinema rating. I say 'Bring it on!'

People get the pirate dvds. I am not saying Gwenyth181 did it that way, but you can pick them up from the Chinese going round selling them, which is a big shame, not because of their profit, but because people sit at home and watch it and miss the magical spell it can only really cast when viewed in the cinema. We all need this magic in our lives in this fragile world.

Yeah. I've only seen it 3 times at the cinema but I'm going to see it @ the IMAX in March. I'm sure most people who watch vids like this have seen it at the cinema & just want to relive the experience. I wish they'd played 'I See You' in the movie, rather than just at the end, cos it goes so well with the images, esp the way the music vid director did it. The ikran flying when the song surges & the tinkly part at the start of the song when Jake is in the forest at night. Stunning & visionary.
