You are right, in all of his movies, he plays the softspoken guy. Rocky, Rambo, Over the Top, Cobra, etc. He is the ultimate underdog and gives his opponets their come-upins.

I remember seeing this as a kid and figuring that anyone who went into a bar would most likely be subject to a challenge from some huge tough guy. I like how Stallone is always so softspoken and polite in these films, whereas his opponents are always loudmouthed, rude, and cartoonish.

I wish he would arm wrestled the kid and broke HIS arm ...little punk ordering tuna on whole wheat toast and a glass of water as his dad is training for an arm wrestling tournament. He would have deserved it !
