Thanks for the great videos John..question for you...is your cherokee a 2 or 3 blade and which would you prefer or do you notice a diff..I am planning to buy a six or saratoga and would appreciate your experienced opinion...
It's a 2 blade.. I've been told the 2 blade and 3 blade have the same performance but I never used a 3 blade.. only on the 206.. they say its quieter.. if I had a choice I'd get a 3 blade for atleast a better look and noise levels...perhaps vibration too... I hope the next prop we get is 3 blade so I know.
I think if I really tried I could probably stop the C206 in 400ft and the Cheorkee in 500ft. They are a close match on pavement.. but I often take the C206 into places I would never take a cherokee.. like soft/short fields with obstacles. If your planning on doing any bush flying.. I would prefer the C206.. but if I was only going into nicer places.. like paved runways or well maintained soft ones.. I'd choose the cherokee.
I heard the STALL HORN that says to me short field landing well done!!

Very nice landing, I'm flying a Pa32-260 in France and love that plane!

@flightfred It's great plane and can carry a hell of a load for it's size. The early model 260's anyway.

@jmr604 I m doing sightseeing flights in the south of France with it, amazing how 260hp is enough for 7 seats! Happy landings JMR

Realistically how much shorter can a C-206 land in comparison to the Cherokee 6? I have always read the Cessna is the better short field plane.
