  • Hans just wanted a piece of that. I think he was jealous of Serge Gainsbourg

  • Thank you Claudus. take care my friend.

  • Thank you Claudus. France is an angel in human form,to know her is to love her, I have run out of adjectives and superlatives to describe such a heavenly creature. to anyone who feels depressed and life is not worth living, watch and listen to France, and you will realise you need nothing more, the experience will take you to the very gates of paradise. France, love and blessings to you.

  • @3624michael Thank you for translating a feeling that I also feel for her.

  • The crowd look pissed.

  • The audience looks dumbfounded, or maybe theyre just German

  • @ismokedmt

or the cameraman had some sarcastic humour to put the focus the reaction on the middle-aged prominent people in the audience (for instance Hans Rosenthal) & you are full of prejustice against germans :-)

  • She was always beautiful. Such an awesome song for the time makes me wonder what #1 could have possibly been!!!

    Gewesen sein sollte Nr. eine.

  • Hans Rosenthal is in the audiance, and Willy Daume.

  • WTF is this!!!!!!!

  • WTF IS THIS!!!!!!!!!!

  • R.I.P Walter Giller

  • Quick! Call the undertaker - the audience is full of STIFFS!

  • Me encanta

  • Cutie Nr1.

  • Thanks for this precious video. What a contrast between the singer and the audience!

  • super-canon et the voice super. N° 1 for me. IJ'ai compris qu'elle finit n° 3. Pas mal !

  • Sounds like a musical BJ.

  • Claudus1943, you are to be commended and applauded for your efforts in putting these great videos of such a lovely world treasure as France Gall. She is so lovely, stunningly angelic, sweet and talented. No matter what difficulities personaly or in the world one may face it is nice to know that someone such as France Gall has existed and puts a smile on our collective face and heart. Wonderful, Meraviglioso, Wundervoll, Merveilleux!

  • @67SilverSurfer Thank you for your nice comment

  • Wow, she is gorgeous here and I love the first close up on here and the feel changes. She is an angel and no American woman compares to her then and since, outstanding!

  • @67SilverSurfer It was an element of its charm

  • @67SilverSurfer why compare her to American women? Gall is French. is there a French woman who can compare to her, then or since?

  • @bgudmundsson I compared her to American women because I live in the United States and these are the women that I see on a daily basis and thus compare her to. I have done some extensieve traveling throughout the world but not as often as I would like. In general, this woman is gorgeous, exceptionaly adorable and a dream no matter what country you compare her to on this planet.

  • Favorite pop star of all time!!!

  • 2:40

This is the face I was doing.

  • miracle i understand german! (well, i'm learning it indeed) :)

  • Camp at its purest.

  • Walter Giller!

  • omg does anybody know , who was the hair dresser of france?

  • Gross: 182 Kragen:39 Schuhgroesse: 46 Stop!

Alt: 22 Jahre, Schwarze Haare, von Beruf Vertreter Kennzeichen: Geld wie Heu!

I love these parts. Bass and they give a kick to France Gall's singing.

  • The line "lange war ich einsam, heut' bin ich verliebt" is a 100% copy of 8 days a week by the beatles.... (Ohh i need your love babe, yes you know it's true)... OMG i discovered a scandal after more than 40 years !!!!

  • @rolololo11 Effectively, it would seem that Christian Bruhn is inspired by "Eight Days a Week" for this musical sentence. But I think that for a dozen notes in the song, there is no plagiarism.

The composers are sometimes inspired by previous works. For example, Serge Gainsbourg had been inspired by the Sonata Nr1 of Beethoven for "Poupée de cire, poupée de son"

  • So talented and beautiful!

  • France is too groovy for that audience.

  • shes a babe

cool - wonderful song - thank you - lg gitte

  • i didnt knew she speak german

  • @muraturile

Yes, she published 42 songs in German.

  • @Claudus1943 And 504 song s in Theisen.

  • @Claudus1943

But: Did she really speaked German? I mean: Was she able to speak free in German? I think not. I believe, that she just learnend the texts of her songs in German.

  • @kirtaep She a little spoke German and she understood it very well. She had studied it to the high school, and the signature of her contract of 5 years at Decca in 1968, obliged her during this 5 years numerous activities and frequent stays in Germany. She learnt her text in German, as a text in french, her knew what the words meant, she did not sing in phonetics as for Japanese.

  • OMG! Nice quality! Thanks for sharing!

  • good old german television (ZDF - zweites deutsches fernsehen).... I unfortunately can't remember the name of the man that speaks before the performance... although I have it in my head........ nevertheless.... WONDERFUL.....

  • @timo201282 Walter Giller

  • @Terranuss danke! hätte man drauf kommen müssen...

  • Very nice, and thanks for the extra stuff..

The close-ups of the audience are fantastic :D

  • Great resolution. I had always thought that the mesmerized person at 2:42 was a gal. Now I'm not so sure. It's great watching the German audience of that era. France is golden.

  • What wrong with bouquet, what happened to her at the last minute...

    she's lovely :)

  • @phannguyenvu

I think that the bouquet was in a bucket of water to keep its freshness and that some drops fell on the legs of France.

    Bel envoi Claude.

  • It's beautiful. Music today is more diversified but I still like the one back then.

Not all of her song I favor but she is one of singers who has many song I like.
