I perfer the M14 slightly over the FN FAL. FN Fal is more consistant, good for mid-range combat. whilst the M14 is better at longer ranges (not like sniper ranges) and the damage is a little better. Then you got the Grip and the Extended mag I rather an Extended Mag over a Dual mag but thats personal preference. My opinion I consider the M14 as my sniper because i can use that way better than the standard sniper.

@DoomScytheBand acually the m14 is good at sniper range, as i tend to bring 2 into combat. 1 with grip and acog and 1 with grip and infared. with acog its 1 away from max and with infared its at max. also when on hardcore its 1 hit 1 kill or 2 if you get a group.

The Xbox controller gives you an advantage to a faster trigger finger because of the trigger design to the controller, the PS3 actually makes you have skill to a trigger finger since it's just a square button, and don't go saying that i'm a PS3 fanboy, I had the Xbox 360 for over 6 months, I know both consoles.

@187godsbathroomfloor The whole point of the semi-auto guns is the power of them at long range. 2SK up to 37m unsilenced is good. Silencer reduces the 2SK range to 12.5, or SMG/Shotgun range. FAL vs SMG/Shotty=not good. Not trying to be an ass or troll, I just want to see your reasoning behind it since I might use a FAL too.I know Dontshootiisgay used a it and was actually pretty decent but FFA really doesn't have long range combat so silencers are good on any gun. Sorry for the long post lol.

@Brawlmaster1997 The FAL is good if you like to take your time with your shots. As the gun kind of needs to completely center or a weird glitch will happen that the second bullet will go right through them withough hit detection. The M14 does not have that. So I would suggest that with a grip and a red dot sight, giving you better accuracy, and a better sight. The M14 is powerful and can be used is a frenzy. I would also Marathon or ninja, as well as lightweight or hardline. :)

@Brawlmaster1997 um i used that class way before i watched this video and the scilencer does not take that much range off it i get longshot kills all the time with that gun you just have to have aim you dont just trigger finger at a far target since its so strong you just aim take two pin point shots and they are dead i use the fal more then any other gun i have the most kills with that gun then any other. i use semis cuz it makes the game more challenging using autos is so boring

Lately i've been using the M14 over the FN FAL. For some reason the M14 fires faster for me, which sounds ridiculous because it all depends on how fast your "trigger" finger is, but yeah....don't know why...If you use M14, I recommend Red Dot/Grip, best combo for that gun IMO.
