Hey guys :D iv been in the same situation as you so i wanted to help you:first delete minecarft. Folder then minecraft uninstall java and download ccleaner clean your computer and install java again,download minecraft again if this didnt work right click on properties and make sure you are running it with windows xp(for xp),vista (for vista)7 (for 7)if you are on windows 7 and this didnt work try to run it with vista from properties ,hope this helped ,reply to me for questions

Worked great. On a Mac, it's: User/Library/Application Support/Minecraft. Drag the .bin folder to trash and restart Minecraft. All the saves remained. Thanks for this.

It works, but you will lose the mod you installed, the mod you used is making minecraft go black screen, so look for other mods to make it work or update youre flash player
