:( No More Heroes has an AWESOME storyline. The whole thing is brutally satirical of Japanese and American pop culture on a number of levels. It's only shallow if you take the story entirely literally - which you're not supposed to. I'll admit that following Suda 51's strange plot and bizarre dialogue can be a bit of an *ahem* acquired taste, but I found the cultural subtexts of No More Heroes' plot to be quite enthralling and unique. So, I really have to protest that review.
