your not being an ass, trust me on that, i get a lot of ASS comments but this isnt one of them....i will probably block off that vent and call it done. I have a driver vent, two passenger vents, one of which can easily hit the driver (me)....i also have rear -air vents in the ceiling that blow down my neck so im all good!

You can put a SSD (solid state drive) in.

SSD's dont have any moving parts and are pretty fast.

I'd be worried about durability though with all that sound system pounding it and the daily driving vibrations.

but seriously if its something that won't destroy the computer Acer makes a $200 net-top computer now that would do it for me. 160gb hard drive and wifi with windows 7.

Yeah, I'd be worried about the vibrations as well... my amps fucking lose pieces once in a blue moon from the vibrations of my 12's... I can't imagine a normal macbook trying to handle all of that haha, we will find out though :)
