1. They aren't oppressed, they go out in tanktops, shorts, skirts - whatever they want. They have the independence to leave the house, drive a car, get jobs and in some work fields they even get paid more than men.(Look it all up)

2. Suicide rates in Bahrain, as one example, is one of the lowest in the world.

3. I don't know one women that burned herself hahaha

Oppression of women in muslim countries, on the other hand, IS rampant and the norm. The VAST majority of muslim countries treat women as second class citizens, this is a fact. Even in 'liberal' countries like Jordan and Bahrain, there are still huge problems. Honor killings (for example) are not treated as 1st degree homicide and the killer does not get the death sentence if he killed the girl in the name if 'honor'. What wafa says is the truth.
