He's treating all Muslims the same way, frequently attacks Arabs, and putting special emphasis on it. He talks about Islam taking over the world and over England. Does Islam deserve special treatment? No. Do Middle Eastern men deserve to treat women the way they do? No. He needs to speak against Islam in a rational and balanced manner, though, which he had not been doing.

He's treating all Muslims the same way, frequently attacks Arabs, and putting special emphasis on it. He talks about Islam taking over the world and over England. Does Islam deserve special treatment? No. Do Middle Eastern men deserve to treat women the way they do? No. He needs to speak against Islam in a rational and balanced manner, though, which he had not been doing.

Your next point is that there is no way it will come into western law. This is not true. All laws start out as ideas. We have no way of knowing what will go into law and what will not.
At this point, (~3:04) your points seem to stress "Well if it was a law, it would conflict with freedom of speech, but it's not a law, so calm down." It is my humble opinion that Pat Condell is of great value to the UK and the rest of the world simply because 1) he is well informed, 2) he speaks the truth, and 3) he is apparently fearless in his comments about religion and about government.
I may not always agree with Pat, but he is spot on in almost all of his commentaries, and I enjoy listening to his point of view as it causes me to think. And thinking is good for all of us.

Religion should not be inviolate against verbal criticism, or "attacks." There cannot be a freedom of religion without the freedom to speak against any religion. Nobody has a right for nobody else to offend them. This U.N. resolution is incrementalism, the thin end of the wedge. Muslims ARE demanding anti-blasphemy laws, which ARE beginning to crop up, as the one that Ireland has recently passed. Besides, many religions mutually "blaspheme" each other as part of their basic doctrine.

Believe it or not, but the fact that a nation can deplore criticism of religion is already unacceptable to me.
As we've seen, a formel disapproval is not just "it", but the direct result of criticism of Islam has been burning flags and ambassies- the resolution doesn't protect their freedom of speech in any way; they have always been saying what they wanted anyway. It gives them a justification of aggressions against the West. What Condell is warning about is the appeasement towards aggression.

Sure, the constitution says Americans are free to express themselves and not get in trouble for it, BUT if what they say harms someone in a malicious way then the person "exercising his or her freedom of speech" has justs committed a tort and can be sued for defamation if the claims turn out to be false.
