@FetizaTV Glad you noticed, it's intentional. I like adding my own touch to make it more retro, especially by changing the endings. Of course everyone has different taste, though. You should check out some of my other songs, there is lots of variations, and hopefully something for eveyone's taste :)

@gschjetne My goal is not to produce realistic 8-bit music/video. I just want to make music with a nice retro inspired touch, and with a video that makes the retro feeling stronger.

If you check out robinerd on facebook, you can find my article about my opinion on making retro chiptunes, the main concept is that I try not to put limits on my music making just to make it more realistic. I just do what I think sounds good, and the concept is similar for this video.

This music will often reflect sounds from technology that is seen as primitive or outdated such as the Game Boy and home made synthesizers.

If this is 8-bit, and I mean REAL 8-bit, you woi;d have included what system this would run on. Because this would not run on an NES without AT LEAST one expansion card. I would say two, but that wouldn't work on an NES, so that would not classify as a chiptune.

Please understand the difference between a chiptune, and 8-bit remix, and an 8-bit arrangement.

@PonyturdFly I don't claim it to be real 8-bit, merely 8-bit inspired since I was indeed influenced by true 8-bit music from real games when I made this cover. The word chiptune has many definitions, and it depends on who you ask. And you're very right about that a real NES wouldn't be able to play this.
