bss are pretty nice people, they weren't too cool to give us a bit of chocolate and a few brazil nuts in liverpool after the show on the bus, and had a nice little chat with us too. They also played a 2 hour set in a tiny venue too which was just a bit good.

This is the essence of the band man, when i saw them live it was like 4 guitars, bass, brass section, two drum kits, all the girls had various precussion, by the end it was just a wall of noise, absolutely fabulous. It's like almost crimes meets stars and sons, amazing song... well now to the video... er... it's aweful, wtf? zebra head in a car... pointless imagery and er... symbolism i guess?? I wish they'd put as much enjoyment in this video as they did for fire- eye'd boy.

I going to go out on a limb and say that the 7/4 time signature is what inspired that part of the name. For those interested I will be making more obvious commentary on other things throughout my life. Love this band. Check out a more obscure band called Brother's Past if you like this band.

Emily Haines is a beautifully brilliant musician and person. I think she is one of the few, if not the only girl I know about on the planet that if I were offered a night with her, I'd say no. Not on the grounds she isn't good looking or anything. Not at all. She's probabaly the only women out there who I would not feel worthy of. I am pretty cocky. DAMNED cocky. But the way she presents herself through song and through word is just awesome.
