  • I have the utmost respect and admiration for Los Lobos. The most versatile band ever!

  • Funny how with all the phases and stages and changes....this is still how rock and roll is supposed to sound.

  • ah, what a solo, man...

  • If Che Guevara was still alive, he'd probably be a Los Lobos fan. Hasta la victoria siempre!

  • In America we don't need communists to threaten our way of life; we have republicans.

  • David Hidalgo's voice and playing, wow! Cesar always great vocals and guitar, Steve Berlin on sax is awesome! Loey, Cougar on drums and Conrad on bass is one of the best! we love these caballeros! our homies from East L.A. ~~~

  • This reminds me, strongly, of "Marie, Marie" by The Blasters. and both of them sound like rocked-up versions of Pat Boone's "Bernadine".

  • I had this "cassette" on the "deck" all the time. Sorry for high-tech lingo, kids.

  • @edwdixon5 i had the cassette too. a metal TDK, recorded from the radio.. but it still sounds very good.... maybe better than the mp3 i downloaded... ;)

  • went to a concert Saturday night and saw Los Lobos I was a little put out by the crowd im sitting in the seventh row and I was the only one who stood up to honor the band . Whats the world coming to when people are too lazy to stand up for a band that you pay money to see

  • If you don't like L L you are a commmunist!!

  • @BCRification i'm a commmunist. even commmunists love los lobos. seems like everybody loves LL

  • @iPlayiDo fuck you, u commie bastard get the fuck out of america there aint no room for you, god i hope you get murdered or kill yourself you stupid commie bastard

  • What a great rock and roll song. A true classic!

  • when music still existed...

  • GRANDES

  • Not only do the screw up but they have distorted sound. Great Videos, but they sound awful.

  • Music like this is pure medicine to my ears...

  • What an awesome voice David Hidalgo has. I consider him a rock and roll legend.

  • Did they write this song? Great stuff!

  • @SianReynolds

look up the band and here how it really should be played.

  • lmao... why do all the vids that @JABFELA uploads screw up at odd times. this one does it at 1:49

  • sorry not for me

  • Great band, great song. Bad recording, (out of sync) and bass player is pushing the tempo a little....But hey....it was live! Energy flows! LOVE Los Lobos!

  • All right now, kiddies. Listen up!

This is real music played by real musicians.

    Quiz tomorrow...

  • David sings so beautiful, and Cesar, love Conrad on bass and Steve Berlin on sax; Los Lobos - love you guys!

  • Magic

  • was this at poor davids pup in dallas?

  • Son impresionantes loco!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great then, even greater now!

  • . . . saw this line up in Hamburg, Germany in 1985 - superior ! ! !

  • i thought The Neighborhood was great.

i think they are all great. LOL

    GO Los Lobos!

  • love these guys too

  • David Hidalgo -- perfect song for him.

  • i saw them open for john mellencamp awhile back, they were amazing, what a tight awesome rock and roll band.

  • fantastic!!

  • Saw them tour behind "How Will the Wolf" Fantastic live band!

  • From Kiko, one of the great records of all time, from one of the great bands of all time.

  • ...this wasnt from Kiko, was it?

  • Sure wasn't. If I had eyes I could see the cover in the background for "How Would the Wolf Survive". Thanks for the correction.

  • yeah, Kiko was more of a soul/funk/grateful dead sorta album. kinda of an acquired taste for Los Lobos fans... i didn't like it so much, tho, lol

  • hey, where can i get this DVD video of Los Lobos' performance in Montreal, Quebec (April 22, 1985)?

  • Once you have seen them you can never discount heir greatness So many crappy bands out there Many crap bands in the RnRHall They dio not include LL Little feat or Doobies Los Lobos is unreal

  • Agreed. Los Lobos can't be topped in straight ahead rock 'n' roll.

  • wat about Warrant? u think they could go up against Warrant?

  • Hah! Warrant! Thanks for the laugh! :)

  • lol... remember that shitty band?

  • @JimRichter yah peeps don't realize how much our mexican brothers had an influence on rock and roll..

  • Raccoon Willie!!!

  • what a great guitar solo!!!!!!!!

  • Gosh, they are so GREAT!! And yes, they should be played on the radio more often! But you know most radio stations don't know good stuff when they hear it... Nowadays all we get it CRAP on the airwaves!

  • i'M CRAZY ABOUT THESE GUYS. aT THE FIRST fURTHER fESTIVAL i CAME TO SEE LOS LOBOS AT THE STAR PAVILION OUTSIDE OF PITTSBURGH. I FOUND A BOX AND DANCED MY ASS OFF. nOBODY TOLD ME TO LEAVE, AND THEY SERVED DRINKS JUST BECAUSE i WAS THERE. (i HAVE ONLY BEEN HAPPIER WHEN MY CHILDREN WERE BORN.) AND A BAND MEMBER TOUCHED HIS HEART AND POINTED TO ME. LIFE IS SO FINE.

  • cesars hand flourish at the end of davids solo="ladies and gentlemen, david hidalgo".....halcyon days........

  • where can i get this DVD or sountrack?

  • where can i get this DVD?

  • My daughter's name! I love this song and so does she.

  • I have always loved this song. Just a straight out rockin' roots song

  • los lobos is great my favorite guitar player is Mark Knopfler but Dave is great too

  • 1:49?

  • hear ya Rudy Lobos. First Lobo show in the mid 80's ar Open Air Theatre, San Diego State. It was an awesome summer evening and I was hooked after that and have been ever since.

  • Incredible guitar solo by Hidalgo - i dare any Clapton or Beck to play as melodic and tasty as he had done - what an underrated guitarist. There is no justice in this world.

  • different styles. it's not fair to compare.

  • What a GREAT song. Makes me want to get up and dance, and I have NO rhythm. Los Lobos rocks!!

  • Wow, i got the chills remembering the first time i experienced Los Lobos in 1985 at the Palace in Hollywood. When u see David, Cesar, Louie, Conrad & Steve all together playing, they are the greatest band ever in our life time. My u tube name says it all.

  • Yeah you said it. I keep two or three of their albums in the truck with me all the time. Amazes me how many people still ask me, "Hey, who's that!?" when I play one like they've never heard of them before. Stuff ought to be on the radio.

  • Wow. How Will the Wolf Survive was the soundtrack to my life one year and this song brings back wonderful memories. Too bad the video gets bunked up at 1:49 and the sound gets out of synch.
